A lot of that stuff will be moved elsewhere. For now, I just throw random stuff there until they find a home. The skin tab is not quite finished yet ... and that's where the vivid stuff will most likely go

While this isn't a bug in itself to be honest, more like a suggestion or whatnot, I'd like to see some feature that adds the so much wanted (by me) transparency for the tooltips (game and LS tooltips alike).
Since we have entered the stage where we tamper with tooltips I thought I'd post a friendly reminder about that ;D

The tooltips can be transparent. Just adjust the opacity in the color select window that appears. You can make the background and borders 100% opaque or knock them down to almost transparent. Unless you are talking about the text as well, in which case ... that will be a little tougher

Yes I was talking about the text mostly and the borders/background ofc...
I transparency slider that will affect text, border and background at the same time was something I was thinking about

Sure, I guess I can add an overall opacity setting to apply to the tooltip. I'll need to figure out where to put the slider though ... it's a little busy in there at the moment =)

If the buttons don't show if you're in edit mode, there could be two issues at hand: 1) There is an error during the loading of those buttons and LS breaks, therefore those buttons never fully get created. If this is the case, you should see an error message upon loading. If you don't see an error message, verify that the "Show LUA errors" option is turned on in your Interface options under, um ... oh heck, I don't even know where they put it But if it's off, turn it on and reload your UI and see if there is an error. If there is, let me know about it and I'll fix the bug. Mode =brain turned on... This is why I run some bug catching addon...it help to look into it when getting errors... I am getting the following lot: [2008/04/06 14:30:30-1883-x1]: LunarSphere\lib\moduleButton.lua:4361: attempt to compare number with nil LunarSphere\lib\moduleButton.lua:3786: in function `LoadButtonData' LunarSphere\lib\moduleButton.lua:329: in function `Initialize' LunarSphere\LunarSphere.lua:205: in function `LunarSphere_OnEvent' <string>:"*:OnEvent":1: in function <[string "*:OnEvent"]:1>

and to be clear, LS 7 perfectly with all chars that don't have any fancy hiding/showing of buttons/menus.

Now LS Stage 701 works perfectly. Thank you for fixing and keep going on so. Lunar sphere is a totally cool addon and I will no longer have to live without.

This bug has been in LS for a whlie now, don't know why I haven't posted it before. When having the get mail and ah money from mailbox turned on, it works perfectly. However, when you leave the mailbox, for some reason the "got mail" icon on the minimap does not clear away.

Same bug than the others with old buttons using quest items I don't have at this time...

Thanks eleve Those will help with the bug squashing, but a few of those look like old bugs that I addressed in version 701. Could you download version 701 and try that one? If some of your detached buttons disappeared, it could have been related to a few bugs that were fixed in version 701, such as the minimap text issue. If, after you get version 701 these bugs still appear, let me know the debug output from your debugger so I can get the updated error line numbers. Since I add and remove code with each version, line number 4376 might be TOTALLY different in version 700 and 701 =) Let me know the results, and thanks again!

Thanks Jonsnow! I found the issue and fixed it. I guess you had some bombs from a previous bombing run, perhaps? These issues never appear until a major WOW patch because Blizzard destroys our local item cache and we have to rebuild it by looking at items in-game. Kinda silly way of doing it, but I guess it works for Blizzard. The line of code that has the issue will now say the item name (if you seen it), or it will say something like:
"item:27384 not in item cache" or just "item:27384"
Where the name would go. I'll have the fix up in the next day or two, once some other bugs are addressed. Until then, remove the quest item that you no longer have in inventory if that issue pops up, from the LS button. Once you see the item in the game (have someone link it to you if you want, the issue will go away =)

However, when you leave the mailbox, for some reason the "got mail" icon on the minimap does not clear away. Huh. I didn't know this was an issue with LS. I thought this was with the Blizzard UI, since it would fix itself (usually) when I checked my mail again to find nothing. I'll take a look at the code and see what's up. Maybe the mail box is supposed to clear that icon manually when you get the last mail, and LS isn't doing it because I didn't know it needed to be done Thanks!

I have noticed the same with other mail mods, it seems that blizzard removes the "u've got mail" icon when u open the last mail, and actually open a new frame...
... an idea of how to fix this is to have LS show the last mail it auto-collects (if this is at all possible...).

When LS takes mail, it does it with a fun brute force method. Some mail addons wait until it's 100% safe to grab the next mail. LS waits for a screen update or two (so the command can be processed on Blizzard's end) and then it grabs more mail. This is usually REALLY fast, but sometimes you get a mail error which, I think, if no big deal and you just right-click the mailbox again to continue fishing out the mail. When doing this, however, there are no mail update messages passed to the Blizzard UI. The mail icon on the minimap processes those messages and if there is no more mail to be processed, it hides the icon. I'll just have LS do that at the end of the mail collect, if there is no more mail to collect I added the code and will be testing it in a little bit.

Had this occur both in version 7.0 and 7.1. When I drink some of my conjured water, Lunarsphere clears them and states that there is no water in my inventory even if I have x stacks.
Have the button setting to auto select the most powerful drink. Havent had this issue with the food where my settings are the same. Using the same LS button with food->left click, water->right click
Thank for a great addon thou =D

I've been getting some of those bug reports and I'm having a hard time figuring out what is causing it, since it's not happening on my end. It seems to be happening with summoned drink, food, or the manna biscuits ... I think ... ? I'll do more testing and see what LS is doing internally that might freak it out Thanks!

I don't know how to explain this... but here goes...
Every once in awhile, I will get a "BLOCK TO BIG" lua error (probably caused by another mod). I then will do a /RL and reload my UI. The only problem is that when I do this the following occurs:
- last (or first) detached bar will disappear - this bar will become attached again (but invisible) - when edit buttons is click it will reappear but be empty - clicking on the menu (attached button which is blank) and config'ing all buttons will reappear for it - dragging, detaching again, or moving will cause positioning of buttons etc to muddle about - eventually they will all delete if you try to correct for too long - you have to re-setup this entire button bar eventually
The next time it happens I will try and screen shot it.

Item count text isn't being considered when the tooltip size is generated. It's running outside the frame: All other tooltips work perfectly.
