It's not really a bug, but more a feature request: When having a row of submenu buttons assigned to Pet Action 1 to 10 (which work flawlessly, I might add), but not having an active pet (e.g. when mounted, or after resurrection or whatever) the button borders are shown, but no icons - which is correct, but looks strange and kind of unfinished. Would it be possible to have the borders dis/appear with the icons?
On a side note: the icons of the pet actions are normally grayed out, while the other buttons aren't. This looks inconsistent.

Noticed another "bug" or mere glitch if you will....
LS aint recognizing the restorative potions (restores health and mana). checked with both the minor as well as the major ones you recieve from one of the new dailies in Shattrath.

I've been unsure as to whether or not I want to let LunarSphere recognize those health/mana potions, because of their double effect. But, if some more people say so, then I'll add them. Food and drink was a little easier for me to accept and add on some items because they are cheap and/or free. The Major Rejuvenation Potion, though, is not really cheap ... I don't know. Any more thoughts on this idea? I suppose they do heal and restore for less than other potions, mainly because they are meant for level 50+ instead of the level 65+ potions, so there won't be much of an issue of this potion being used before, say, Auchenai Healing Potions.

I know, I know, it's cruel to have people read that. I'll be fixing that soon, so no worries

And sorry, if I missed this, too ;D When having the keyring assigned to a button, the tooltip reads (?/0) as item count - which is kind of correct as the keyring has no item limit - but it looks weird. Any chance of suppressing that?

Hehe, I should fix that, huh? I'll see about getting that keyring issue fixed in 702

I am having an issue where i can not press the "Pet Action Bar" buttons. I assign the action to the Left Click button. I don't get an error. Just can't do any thing with them. QQ

Are you using a hunter or a warlock? Also, after you assign the button, do you get an icon representing the pet action button to selected? Or is it black? Also, does the tooltip say "Pet Action Button #" (# for whatever button number you selected), or does it say the appropriate pet action name and tooltip info?

I am on a Warlock. I do get the corresponding icon. Its not black. And it says the name of the ability, and the yellow text, if there is any.
Edit: Reapplied the actions to the buttons and now they work.. Weird...

I'll investigate the buttons on the Warlock side of things. Since it seemed to work on my Hunter, I assume the Warlock would be no different

Hello, When you have 3 healthstone (2k,2.2k and 2.4k) and you use one while in combat, the button don't put the next healing item at disposal. Let's say I have one major potion and 3 healthstone, what I think would be marvellous, would be: - Use healthstone --> 2 min cooldown - The next healing stuff NOT on cooldown (or with the shorter CD) appears, in my case, it should be the major healing potion (unless I have used one mana potion...), but, when the healthstone CD is finished, the healthstone should go back - If everything is on CD, can you add bandage too (it's an healing item...) ? In fact, boss combats are now at least 6-10 min long, so we could use all the healthstone, and everytime I had to do it, I had to open my bag and use it, which is not very quick Thanks in advance Moon, I don't know if its possible because of the unability to change a lot of things while in combat....

1. How did the mail icon thing work out?
2. I'm still having trouble finding the saved template files. I checked to see if it added an extra lua file in my wtf folder but no luck. I checked in the LS saved variable code to see if it was just some lines in there but no luck. Wouldn't it be more intuitive if it could just export the template file to the LS exporter folder?
3. Do you have any new ideas on the mana gem count update?
4. Next release is just another bugfix patch? Eta?
As always, thanks a ton Moon.

@ Jonsnow/Jonsnow's idea I luv it! It makes wonderful sense.. cuz clearly the best healing item at any given point is one that isn't on cooldown! hehe Yay Moongaze!

@ Jonsnow & scaredofspiders
I'm pretty sure suggestions like this have come up before. While it is a great idea, I'm pretty sure it will not be implemented. It is fully possible to add this functionality if you are out of combat, but in combat, not so much. In order for this to work, LS would have to make intelligent decisions on what to use while in combat, which blizzard strictly forbids. It would also have to update the button to reflect these decisions which is also not allowed. It is the same reason why the "use best healthstone/mana potion/health potion" do not update in combat if you use the last of one type and now are moving on to a new type.
Correct me if I'm wrong Moon.

In fact I don't care about the button icon, I only care on its action ! My problem is with 3 healthstone, I can only use one with this button

When you have 3 healthstone (2k,2.2k and 2.4k) and you use one while in combat, the button don't put the next healing item at disposal. Correct. While in combat, it is impossible for LunarSphere to assign a new action to a button, and in this case, it cannot assign a new item to the button. This is the limitation imposed by Blizzard's secure action button code from WOW 2.0 =( The best I can do is an idea I came up with a while ago which would not assign an item to the button, but rather, a macro. For example: [/b] Button is assigned an item to use. Only that item can be used, and once combat is over, the button can be updated with a new action if need be IdeaButton is assigned a macro. This macro will take UP TO 3 items and drop it into a /use macro, such as: /use potion /use healthstone #1 /use heathstone #2 With the macro system that Blizzard uses, if the potion can't be used, the macro will continue to the next line and use the healthstone. If the healthstone can't be used, it will move to the next item, the other healthstone. This is also problematic because items that don't share the same cooldown will be used at the same time. So, if a potion and a healthstone don't share the cooldowns, this macro will use BOTH at the same time, resulting in a huge heal. This is truely only feasible for "Use healing potion," "Use mana potion," and "Use healthstone" ... but NOT the "Use healing item" since you might use more than one item at once. I will probably be adding this code for the potions and healthstones and will pretty much trick the interface into letting me assign more than one action to a button. Macros let users do this now, so why not let LS do it? It already does this for the "Use best food and water" option.[/ul] This is what I'll be working on ... after the public release. I can't do it right now because it would require some code changes that I don't want to tackle at this time. But this is probably the best option for what you want. 1. How did the mail icon thing work out? It didn't I have another idea that I'm going to try, but someone bought an auction of mine, so I can't test it for another 45 minutes since it won't auto-clear that mail. Still can't find it? I think I mentioned this, but if not, make sure you check: C:\Program Files\ World of Warcraft\ WTF\Account\(YOUR ACCOUNT NAME)\SavedVariables It will be the "LunarSphereExporter.lua" It's the same file that your speeches get exported into, and only appears after you reload the UI (for the first time) and will only be updated when you reload the UI or log out. That's the best I can offer since I'm able to see it on my end. *shrug* Also, it's NOT in this folder: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\ WTF\Account\(YOUR ACCOUNT NAME)\(Your server name) \(Character name)\SavedVariables That's for local saved variables, and the export file is in the global saved variable from above. Yes, but sadly ... Blizzard doesn't let us decide where to put files from the addon code. Any saved files go into the SavedVariables file for your account (if it is a global file), or the SavedVariables file for your character (if it is a local file). That's the best I can do. ... *hides* It will be a bug fix patch, and the memory tab will have a few options for people to disable. I'm still in the process of converting some of my code, so I'm doing it in small steps so I can test them as I go and make sure that if parts are turned on and parts are turned off, LS won't crash ETA ... aimming for Friday, since I'll be gone for the weekend, again.

Yea my bad, I was looking in the 2nd path where you said it's not lol. Just wanted to know if you get what the problem is w/ the mail icon that I reported. Also in case you didn't know, it clears if you log off and then back on for some reason.
Also I have an idea for the use best buttons. What if for those buttons there is an option for the user to click that says "only use for this button" or something like that. Meaning that the "use best w/e" is the only thing they are assigning to that button, and nothing else to the middle or right clicks. Then while not in combat, LS assigns things to the right and middle click. For example, for the use best healthstone button. LS would assign the strongest to left click, then 2nd strongest to right click, then 3rd to middle click, or something like that. Meaning you would be able to use all of them in combat. Then when out of combat, LS would update the buttons depending on what you have in your inventory again.
Also since we are nearing public release I wanted to remind you about the auto restock bank items thing. All you would have to do I think is basically copy the reagent tab, change it to activate at bank tellers not reagent vendors, and probably some other minor things.
Thanks.

I get the mail icon thing. After all the mail has been grabbed from the mailbox (and your mailbox is empty) ... the icon still says you got mail, right? That's the fix I'm putting in That's a good idea for the best buttons. If I was to add that type of feature, I would need to figure out where to put the options for it. The Button Settings window needs a little re-formatting love I don't know if the auto-restock from the bank will make it in before the public release. I'll see what I can do, though
