Upon loading latest patch 2.42.2 (8278) & LS version 706, almost all detached buttons are invisible/not present, menus are not there, edit buttons does not show them/make them visible. Mouseover of main sphere (or any tooltip returning part of LS) returns "Interface\AddOns\LunarSphere\lib\moduleAPI.lua:774: attempt to index field 'tooltip' (an nil value)" While button edit mode is on, clicking the single button I still have (which is strange, because it is a detached button, just the one 'geographically' closest to the sphere) still triggers the action (stoneclaw totem) & brings up the settings window. I cannot save any attempts to change any button. I get a tooltip error (above) when trying to save and a button error (below) if I try to change angle or offset of the submenu (which does not show in the first place) "Interface\AddOns\LunarSphere\lib\moduleButton.lua:2218: attempt to index global 'button' (a nil value)"
When debugging with all other addons off, the reload gave me "Interface\AddOns\LunarSphere\lib\moduleItems.lua:41: bad argument #1 to 'gsub' (string expected, got nil)" Everything has been duplicated with LS the sole addon running.
Thanks for your hard work, hope this helps at all.

We had the patch today, didn't we? *cry* I will upload the fix. I wasn't anticipating the patch today so I waited to release the new version until I have more meat in in. Update will be in a few minutes. Sorry about that The issue is what was reported by Lothaer on the PTR and it is in regards to me trying to use a text value that Blizzard removed from the game in regards to item charges. They just combined two text values that I normally would use into one, so ONE of them exist, but I'm still trying to load the second one which doesn't and the error crashes LS upon loading. That's the big detail, at least. The update, like I said, will be in a few minutes

I would like to confirm the previous post. I have observed this exactly as described. I am getting the same error dialoge. I would also like to add that my key bindings are also inactive, and the other buttons and submenus are no longer found to even attempt editing. This has been a really enjoyable plugin. Sorry this patch seems to have reamed it's functionality Thanks for you hard work! EDIT: did I say previous? I meant previous previous. Seems things move along fast here

Thanks Moon! I would be a very, very sad Ringwraith if I didn't have access to my most FAVORITE mod in all of WoW. Thanks for the ultra-speedy update!

No worries. It is fixed and ready to go. I'm loading right now. Sorry for the inconvience. I never expected Blizzard to remove some of their localization strings, which is what happened with this error that will stop LS from loading completely, which in turn, breaks LS entirely. Still, the patch is coming in a few minutes! Hold on tight!

Version 707 is now live. I wasn't prepared to release it, so some features that I added are still, um ... not finished. Still, this is an important release because it makes LS compatible with WOW patch 2.4.2, which broke LS due to a small change in Blizzard's code (one line messed thing up, lol). So, as usual, please read the "Stage 7 Changelog" thread for details on what I added/changed/fixed. Thanks again!

On another note, I'm locking this thread and starting the 707 bug thread, where I'll have a nice opening post explaining the need to update to version 707 to continue with testing LS
