they are down until 2pm and hardly believe that Moongaze would do what he suggested LS did on loadup

Just downloaded version 7 last night, and servers went down, hah. Anyways when they came back up this morning I promptly started on my new UI. This is a completely new install so I know its not a bug from overwriting files or something but anyways heres my bug. When I set an option to the right click button for a sphere. I get an error.

Thanks. Fixed. This will happen when you click icon setting is set to a click action that is set to "none"
In your screen shot, you have your "show icon" set to left click, and the left click action is set to none. Switch the "show icon" to something that exists on your button to ignore this error until I release a patch in a day or two. Sorry about that =(

So people know what's going on, I'm going to try and keep the first post of this thread update with any and all errors that I know of and have fixed or am working on a fix for.

New here, and first I have to say I absolutely LOVE this addon Great work! The only bug I have found as of yet is with the Speech feature. The <mount>, <player> and <target> tags don't work at all. Not a biggie, but thought you should know

Anyone else getting the feeling that this stage might not be as god awful long as all the previous ones?

Hehe. Yeah, I feel that way. The only thing that needs to be created that will take some time is the memory management tab and the functionality it will present to everyone. After that, everything else is simple lines of code here and there. Oh, and the sphere already lets the users define how many menu buttons the user wants to appear (1 to 10), but the menu buttons themselves don't have the "total submenu buttons" slider yet (1 to 12). This code is already in place and works, I just didn't have the time to increase the size of the Button Settings window to show the slider. The Button Settings window might be getting a sliding frame, similar to what is in the memory tab right now. That way, I don't need to increase the size of the window and can maybe make it smaller, allowing users to scroll up and down in a "settings" section and make room for some other stuff. ... Did I mention that I really want LS to be finished for Public Release so I can take a break from it? April 7, 2007 is when I started this project. I am trying really hard for a April 8, 2008 public release. It probably won't happen though =(

I had some sort of bug while trying teron in BT. As you know, this boss curses someone and when its over, transform you into a ghost, which spells should replace yours into the action bar. Here is the point ; i've unhid the blizzard interface, using LS options but on the very first time i was ghost, had no spells poping in it. Just an empty bar. on the second time (and others) worked well. I've tried without LS, the spells were poping correctly, on the first time. Was using v615 when on teron for first time, it still happens with v700. No bug window, even unhiding the lua errors, sound very weird to me ! Teron is down for this week so i can't do any further tests, and i don't even know when i'll be able to perform these. Not really the place for this but i'va a question while i'm there. Is there a way to use the new pet bar option while in this form ? Seems thats this ghost is a pet... I would like to try configure it to pop if you're the ghost. But where to get the spells (elsewhere than in ghost form, you have others things to do )? I'll post a thread about this later, i must go raid atm !

If you try to show or hide parts of the interface that deal with target data (player frames) and spell data (action buttons) while in combat, they won't update properly until after combat. This is part of the "in-combat" restrictions they impose on us with the secure button stuff. If your action bar is replaced with a new action bar while a ghost, it is most likely a stance bar update. Try to not hide your stance bar and go at it that way. When you turn into a ghost, the bar should pop out. I could be wrong, of course, since I've never stepped into BT. It's that whole "level 68" thing that I've been suffering from for the past 6-8 months. larania: I'll take a look at the speech issue. No clue why it would have disappeared ... nosscire: I don't think I put in <player> as a tag, although I could be mistaken. When you are doing the speeches, do you just get a blank spot where <target> or <mount> should be? Example: "This is my mount, <mount>. It's special." gives you "This is my mount,. It's special" in your chat? Also, what locale are you using? English, German, French?

Is your next release going to be a bug fix of 700, or is it going to be stage 7 part 2 of the stage breakdown? Also, for stage 8: public release, are you planning to do a pre-release on the boards to catch any last bugs or will that be when it actually gets released?

It will be a bug fix. As for Stage 8, I will be releasing version 7 part 2 with all the extra bells and whistles, and hopefully templates for each class for people to try out. After stage 7 is fully tested, Stage 8 will be live, maybe a week, and then it will go into LunarSphere 1.0 public release status and be uploaded everywhere and I will have a nervous breakdown.

Like NossCire, the speeches that have <mount> in it now just have a blank. "my comes with a built in barf bag, does yours?" Instead of "my swift purple gryphon comes with a built in barf bag, does yours?" -- happens with both generic mount and flying mount speeches

Are the mounts recognized from the "Item Printout" button in the Debug tab? I'll poke around when I sign into WOW on Thursday for some tests. Thanks for the information everyone

Yes, the mounts do show up under Item Printout.
I was also wrong in my first report, it's only the mounts that doesn't work, the <player> and <target> tags do work, I was just doing it wrong.

...it will go into LunarSphere 1.0 public release status and be uploaded everywhere and I will have a nervous breakdown. Yeah, this thing's gonna be crazy when it hits public. Think you're being bugged now about features, you ain't seen NOTHING yet! "Can you add support for these 12 million mods?"

Downloaded LS v7.0 yesterday and found that my frame rate dropped 10fps (was around 18-20fps prior to loading LS, then went to 8-10 after loading), and when I log out (not exit) and disabled LS, frame rates went back.
Has anyone else seen this? I guess I will confirm by disabling everything and load only LS to verify. But my computer isn't as powerful so every fps counts, and I'm hoping really hard that it isn't LS...

Error occured in: Global Count: 1 Message: ..\AddOns\LunarSphere\lib\moduleAPI.lua line 1780: attempt to index field 'MinimapTextRight' (a nil value) Debug: WoWDigger\wowp.core.lua:223: ErrorHandler() [string "WOWX:ErrorHandler(...);"]:1: in main chunk [C]: ? LunarSphere\lib\moduleAPI.lua:1780: ShowMinimapCoords() LunarSphere\lib\moduleSphere.lua:1917: Updates() LunarSphere\lib\moduleSphere.lua:337: LunarSphere\lib\moduleSphere.lua:337
Got this right at startup.
Edit: With this error, when I click a button it does it's action AND opens the config window for it. CTRL-clicked to bring up quick menu, saw edit was checked (yet wasn't in edit mode). Unchecked, reloaded, still get the error, but the "ghost" edit mode didn't return. Very weird.
