Hey everyone!
I started a new thread for version 611 and beyond for the Stage 6 LunarSphere testing. The previous thread was becoming quite large. With that said, please make sure that when posting in this thread, your LunarSphere version number is the latest version released (Example: If the title of this thread says: "Ver. 611 - Ver. 613" ... the latest is 613). This will ensure that a bug that is being reported wasn't already fixed in a later version.
Thanks!

Hey Moon -
just tested out 611 - if I change into Tree of Life, Bear or Cat all my LS buttons disappear - only the main sphere remains visible. Ive reverted back to 610 until you can figure out what's up.

The mana gem charge update didn't work. It still updates when you move something in your inventory though,

Oh wow. Same as with Elesarr. I tried 'edit buttons' which has worked on some show/hide things before, but nothing happened. This was with shaman shapechange to ghost wolf. When combat begins, show on combat buttons & menus do appear--but none of the others do.

I'll echo the previous posters...
When I shapechange with my druid all buttons but the main shpere vanish!
And I get a TON of errors when I log on my warlock to test the Ritual of Summoning speeches... Sadly I got overexcited to send a bug report and I forgot to copy/paste the errors ;D

Okay, thanks for the information. I'll log onto my druid when I get back from school and see what's up. I don't recall changing anything in that area ... but I could be wrong.
For now, I disabled the 611 download... Be back with more info in about 4 hours.

*sigh* In my attempt to make something more more effecient, I actually crippled LunarSphere for the stance changers. Sorry about that. I found the issue and corrected it. I also crippled the healthstones. My warlock (level 12, go!) created one and I noticed I couldn't use it. I was inserting part of the healthstone data into the button and forgot something important. That has also been fixed. As for the warlock errors that popped up earlier, I have no clue what they were without the bug report or line number I didn't see any errors on my end, so I'll just wait for more details. Um ... that's about it for what I've seen. I'll upload version 612 in a little bit ... after more testing =D

Version 612 is now live. This is an emergency patch to fix some issues I brought into LS with version 611. This version should be much more stable. Soooo ... give this version a try?

I am usually a little more paranoid when I release new versions of LunarSphere, so I usually test it on 3 types of characters (warrior, druid, anything else). The warriors and druids are the ones that can be majorly affected by some of my button changes because of their stance feature. For version 611, I didn't fully test it. That was an oddity and shouldn't happen much in the future

Got version 612... While the shapeshifting errors are a thing from the past, the annoying errors while playing with my warlock are still there and are driving me nuts ;D This time I managed to copy/paste them though and without further ado here they are: Error: attempt to compare number with nil AddOn: LunarShpere File: moduleButton.lua Line: 4437 Count: 2 Error: attempt to index local 'button' (a nil value) AddOn: LunarShpere File: moduleButton.lua Line: 2872 Count: 8 Error: attempt to index field 'update CounterFrame' (a nil value) AddOn: LunarShpere File: moduleButton.lua Line: 4039 Count: 1 Error: attempt to index field 'update CounterFrame' (a nil value) AddOn: LunarShpere File: moduleButton.lua Line: 4696 Count: Infinite Error: attempt to index field 'update CounterFrame' (a nil value) AddOn: LunarShpere File: moduleButton.lua Line: 4032 Count: 1

Thanks for those bug reports, AutolycusWolf. I found all the areas it was complaining and will investigate what needs to be done. Should be pretty easy. I'll let you know more in a few hours. (I, um ... had a certain Wii video game that came out today plop into my lap just now ... and I need to, want to, MUST play it, hehe)

Well, it looks like the issue might be related to only one line of code, but that line of code messed a lot of stuff up. If you don't mind editing a line of code on your end, AutolycusWolf, you can try this fix: 1) Open the moduleButton.lua file in the LunarSphere/Lib folder. 2) Go to the search feature of your text editor and do a search for the following line (only appears once): local reagentCount = GetSpellCount(actionName)3) Replace it with: local reagentCount = GetSpellCount(actionName) or 04) Save the file and reload your UI (or load up WOW if you haven't done so already). That should hopefully fix the issue. Let me know of your findings

The mana gem charge update didn't work. It still updates when you move something in your inventory though, Okay, time to try another idea. Can you edit the moduleItems.lua file for me? Here's what will need to be done: 1) Perform a search for (it's a long one): itemData[itemTableNames[nameIndex]][index].count = GetItemCount(itemData[itemTableNames[nameIndex]][index].name);2) Replace that line with this line (also long): itemData[itemTableNames[nameIndex]][index].count = GetItemCount(itemData[itemTableNames[nameIndex]][index].name, nil, true);3) Save and reload your UI (or start up WOW if you haven't yet). This is the only thing I can think of right now. Since the mana gem is a part of the "auto-update" button types, it might be pulling the item count from that database, and that line of code you edited will ensure that items with charges will relay their charges data if they have it. If that doesn't work, well ... I'm outta ideas until someone can get me one of those gems to play with. Thanks for your time, Exuro, and let me know the results whenever you have some free time

Thanks Moon for this hotfix... Did as I was told and the annoying messages while playing with my warlock are long gone!
Plus as an added bonus the Ritual of Summoning speeches work fine as of now ;D

Great to hear. Now if only that hotfix for the Mana Emerald issue would work ... *hopes* I guess I'll continue working on the other parts of Stage 6 so I can finish this part and move onto the last stage of features.

BTW is there a way when using the various speeches to mute them when I'm doing something on my toon? For example I have a Soulstone Resurrection speech that goes off when I soulstone a player in a party. It also goes off when I soulstone myself, something I don't want. Is there a way to stop/avoid this? I knew Necrosis had that feature (speechers went off *ONLY* when you did stuff to other players not your toon) and was wondering if this is possible for our beloved LS as well

In fact I got an error when I logged on and the charge count did not update. I changed the code back to what it was and the error remained so I had to delete the Lunarsphere folder and copy it again for the error to go away. (and yes I exited wow completely each time I edited the lua files) If knowing the error will help Ill recreate what happened...just let me know. Ele

Actually, if it isn't too much trouble, could you re-do that code fix and let me know the error message? I'm wondering if it is a "compare with nil" error. If it is, I might need to add "or 0" to the end of that line of code... like so: itemData[itemTableNames[nameIndex]][index].count = GetItemCount(itemData[itemTableNames[nameIndex]][index].name, nil, true) or 0;Does a level 68 have access to that gem? I might be able to drop onto someone's account who has a 68 mage and mess around, if they'll let me. Just need to ask them when I get outta school today
