unrak: I think TipBuddy is getting pretty close to RIP status now with the 3.0 update =( Oh, and it looks like you're still running LS version 0.801. We're one 803 now =) Thanks for the info Moon. I have updated ;D I visited the TipBuddy homepage and you are right the project has been discontinued. It seems the guy updating it has now written his own tooltip mod called TipTac so time for a change

I don't have the items in my bags anymore though, they have been... internalized properly.
And no, the macros is just not firing. Might be the tag though. I will investiage further.

Sorry if this has been posted before (I looked but couldn't find)
I don't know if this is a bug or not, but just for fun (and to increase my mount count for an achievement), I added my old epic flyer to my mounts list, and now 'Use Best Flying Mount' selects that instead of my Netherdrake (which would be better wouldn't it?)
I switched to Spell in the mean time (and changed 'Use best land mount' to my Magic Broom for as long as it lasts)
Is this a bug or intended behavior?

The mount detection is based upon what the tooltip says, since I don't have a way to find out the speed of the mount with other means. Basically:
"(No speed text)" < "This is a fast mount" < "This is a very fast mount" < "This is an extremely fast mount"
... So, if you have two mounts that say "Very fast mount" but you know for a fact that one of them is actually faster than the other ... sorry to say, but it probably won't pick it. I might have to manually increase certain mounts that fall into this situation, but I need to get a good list of the mounts with their speed and go from there. Any new mounts added in the future will suffer the same fate until I update the list (another reason why I don't like making hard-coded lists ... things change, and as much as I want to update LS, there may be a time where I won't and I would hate you have LS "break" because it can't find new spells, items, mounts, etc.) =)

Sorry if this issue has already been posted, must have missed it in my skimming.
I'm having a small problem with the menus. I have it set up so that when I mouse over they open, and it works except for the the one in the NW corner. no matter what I do, that one doesn't open on mouseover. I've tried different characters, restarting, re-doing the settings, but nothing works.

Moongaze, where can I change the priority for the mounts so that my nether drake and ground mount x will be the ones selected for the 'use best mount' button?

Right now, you can't set priorities for that button type. The whole mount button type is slightly screwy right now since I don't have access to the speeds of the mounts until after they are cast >.> I wish Blizzard let us have access to that information. Only thing I can recommend for now is to make a macro: /cast [flyable] Nether Drake; Ground Mount Or something of that manor so you get the flying mount if you can fly, and the ground mount otherwise.

I was only looping through buttons 1-9, not 1-10, therefore, the 10th button (the last one) was not updating properly. It is fixed for the 804 version.

Version 804 is now live. Lots of fixed and changes in this version, including some new features that some people might like. Sorry for the delay, I was having issues with the "use best (item)" button types for locales other than English (mainly related to mounts, actually). Please check the Stage 8 Changelog thread for details. Thanks!

Ok, next issue with the "best mount". Before, when I was in shattrah, hit my "best mount" it switched me to my epic flight form, or Swift Flight Form as it is actually named, and elsewhere my landmount. Now, however, "best mount", as I have only my landmount (I never got a flying one since I have flight form) just does that - goes to mount. This means that even in flyable areas I revert to my landmount, and I am guessing that if I learn a non-epic flying mount it would pick that rather than my epic flight form.
Edit: Wohoo! Soulshards are now properly counted! Thank you ever so much!

I'll get the druid and other class "spell mounts" fixed for the next time. When I disabled the item mount check, the class mounts might have went with it. Sorry about that =)

No need to apologize. Knowing that you are at work making this addon is more than enough to keep us all flying high.

small issue on 804.
The gauges on the main shpere keep on activating on loading despite them being set to off. have to go to config and activate them then unactivate them to get them to go.

Hi there. I appologize if this has already been addressed, but I only skimmed the forum.
I just installed the 804 LunaSphere. When I left click on any button, I get the configuration window. When I set the button up with actions and click the proper mouse button, the config window always displays and the action never occurs. I do not receive any error message, just the configuration window.
Any suggestions? I had other add-ons installed, but I disabled them (maybe thought there was a collision).
Thanks.

I know it is early stages moon but I had a bit of a play with the new map texture option and noticed the following:
If using the shpere as a minimap It could propably be useful to have a large shpere that the scale of 2 currently allows.
Not sure how they are interacting but something to do with this option is breaking another of my addons, cursercastbar
The map texture will be an awesome feature when it is fully up and running let me know if there is any specific testing or information i can help out with.
Cheers, nuno

You are still in edit button-mode. Ctrl+rightclick on the central sphere and untip edit buttons and it is done.

If you look further back on this forum I asked the exact same question when I came here. Whoever reads the manual anyway? Sorry for going OT

My "use best" are still not working, dont know if I miss something but I tried to move things around and nothing changes . I've tried to your macro with /cast [flyable] Nether Drake; Ground Mount but perhaps it also need localized words because nothing happen with it too ... Make sure that you put your real name for the Nether Drake and the ground mount you want to summon. For me: /cast [flyable] Swift Nether Drake; Black War Raptor So, for: /cast [flyable] X; Y X is the name of your flying mount Y is the name of your ground mount However, [flyable] is a macro command, and I'm not sure if that is localized or not ... So, let me just say that localizing a tooltip in WOW seems like it would be simple. If there are 3 sentences in the tooltip, the localized version should also have 3 sentences. But, some locales will combine sentences such as "X. Y. Z" becomes "X. Y and Z" ... grrr. So, you're error stems from that. I think I'm going to need to do some other tricks for this localizing stuff. It makes me a sad panda, but I still want to make sure it works for everyone, and not just English locale players. I guess I need to look up "very fast" and "extremely fast" for all languages and compare some tooltips to make sure that the format is correct and is being used in the tooltip. Then, I can move on and make it work better @ Minimap Texture: The thing is, the minimap texture "feature" I'm using MOVES the minimap to the sphere. Because this is what I'm doing, I must hide everything attached to the minimap, otherwise you'll have a bunch of floating icons around the sphere. Maybe you want that, who knows I'll keep messing with it, but I'll be honest: I don't think the minimap feature will stay. This is something that is VERY experimental and will break other addons, something that I am against. I will see if I can clone the minimap texture, if possible, but doubt I'll be able to. We'll see
