Quick note to those having !swatter issues where swatter disappears - if you are using Wowmatrix to update it downloads the incorrect file and causes the error. Apparently Swatter and wowmatrix is a known issue to the auctioneer and gatherer devs.
I just went on their IRC and found out so as i had seen a couple of people with the issue i thought i would share my findings.
The fix is to get wowmatrix to ignore auctioneer and gatherer and only update from their sites.

Do you know, I hadn't used they keyind at all? hmm. It just in the tooltip text. Let me just check that. Or I may be being stupid. Yes I'm being stupid. For some reason I thought I would CTRL click to get rid of the binding. Kind of hard to duplicate if I'm not using the beast correctly! False alarm!! Everyone back to your workstations...
[edit] i think i know why i thought that would work--that's how to get rid of the actual spell/item/macro from the button itself--nevermind the fact that the tooltip plainly tells me to do differently[/edit]

Okay, I created a new thread for those who are using the French client (or any client, really) where the "Use best (item)" button types are not working. It will have instructions for some of the information that I'll need and some tests you can run to help me out. Thanks!

Version 803 is now live. It has some more bug fixes along with a new way of storing item spell names so that (hopefully) the "Use best (item)" button types work for everyone, regardless of whether or not they have seen certain items since a server refresh. As usual, please check the "Stage 8 Changelog" thread for details on what I added, changed, and fixed. Thanks!

Sorry Moon, still no "use" button working in 803 I'll try to check a little more often the board today to see if you need help testing something for that

Ok, unsure if this is just because of 8.02-8.03 or not, but..... At anytime, in or out of combat, if I happen to miss the button, and L-click anywhere between the parent button and the main sphere, it closes all the child buttons, even though I have the middle click set to open menu, and I have that set to always open, never closes. It is disconcerting that in the middle of battle all of a sudden all I have available is Mangle and the rest of my bear bar is gone.

unrak: I'm pretty sure that is a TipBuddy issue. It's not fully 3.0 compliant (the version I downloaded) so it will probably be very fussy. It also hooks the GameTooltip_OnHide function by replacing it, instead of a secure hook like a lot of people are using. I can't trouble shoot it completely, but I'm pretty sure that TipBuddy is trying to call the original GameTooltip_OnHide function from within WOW but it is not passing the "self" parameter which is needed in a lot of code situations now. I think TipBuddy is getting pretty close to RIP status now with the 3.0 update =( Oh, and it looks like you're still running LS version 0.801. We're one 803 now =)

bloodeagle: Found the issue and fixed it. The headers for the buttons (the things that make the menus work, among other things) don't need sizes in order to work. Basically, if you clicked a little bit away from the button, you would click the header and it would react like you clicked the button. Not at all intended and version 804 will fix this. Thanks!

I'll start the testing and discussion for this bug in that thread to keep it separate because I'm sure it will generate a lot of stuff =) I don't remember or not, but did you install or turn on !swatter with the 3.0 patch? Or do you have the "Show LUA Errors" option turned on in the WOW Inteface - Help section?

Imported art does not save after exiting or reloading ui. I've placed my tga file in the LunarSphereImports directory and when I select the blue-bordered custom texture in the skins tab it looks exactly how it should. The only problem is that no texture appears when I reload the ui or close/open WoW and I must go in and select it every time to apply it. I consider saving the selected texture a vital feature. Also, more of a suggestion/feature request rather than a bug, I've found no way to disable the main sphere. I've gotten close though. I can only manage to disable the two gauges, however the center bit still remains (the part with the custom orb art). Having this feature would again be critical in my books! Hope this information will help you to create the best LunarSphere yet. PS: I'm using the latst build, 803.

I plan to let people hide the sphere in the future, I just haven't added it yet. There was a macro that I provided a while ago that would do this, but I don't know where it is at this time ...

HI Moongaze, loving lunarsphere it has revitalised my UI for version 3.02
One issue I have noticed, which is a small annoyance rather than a bug is that the button images for my use trinket buttons do not appear to be updating when I change my trinkets.
Keep up the good work, nuno

Hi Moongaze, Here's a good one for you. I have currently, a lvl 47 Rogue, and I use a menu for the Poisons, Left click Apply Main and such. I just picked up a 'Wound Poison III' from somewhere (It's a lvl 48), and I suddenly could not apply 'Wound Poison I' or 'Wound Poison II'. Came up with 'Can not use that Item'. Once I ditched the 'Wound Poison III' in the bank, I was able to use the other Wound Poisons. Of course, This would not have happened if us Rogues had not lost the Poison Profesion. I do love this addon. Keep up the good work. By the way, I am addicted to Bejeweled.

I was having similar problems with my rogue prior to .803, but the latest version seemed to fix it for me. I'll check that rank of poison tonight on my rogue. Do you have version .803 installed?

Yes, This is one Addon I like to follow closely. So I tend to keep it up to date. The other is SC_ChaChing on WoWui, though that one is mine.

Not sure if this has been covered, but this is my boggle anyway. I have a lock, use Lunarsphere for everything. It is such a lovely addon (and thank you for all your terrific work). However, since patchday my central button has been giving me some grief.
Left-click = Soulshatter. Works like a charm, no worries there. Middle-click = Soulshards with button-count. No number displayed at all. I have cleared and redragged a soulshard to it, but it does not appear still. The tooltip says "Soulshard" but no number. Most vexin. Right-click= Use best mount. The button works fine, but hte tooltip merely spews out a string of what seems like random numbers, usually 5 or six. These numbers change from time to time. I have reset this function a few times since I un-bagged my mounts.
Then again, my macro for /use [flyable] xxx-mount; xxx-mount does not work either, so something is up by the mounts.

Thanks for the information. I haven't really responded much to the bug reports these past few days, but I am aware of them all and I am fixing them, including the ones you mentioned. You actually have a few more that I was un-aware of =)
The "Use best mount" actions will probably mess up a little bit if you have a mount ITEM in your bags. I haven't removed the mount item support, so it's finding mount spells and items right now and honestly, it should only focus on the spells since those are the learned mounts you have. The number you see if the item number of the item mount it's probably finding.
As for the macro ... try /cast [flyable] xxx-mount. The mounts were converted to spells, so the Use shouldn't really work anymore unless you have an item mount. I could be wrong, though =)
