I guess I should respec so I can get shadow form and see what that's all about. My entire WOW career I have never respeced from holy. It's nuts.
I'll see what I can do about that. I'll also be adding the ability to disable the global cooldown display, or put it on the sphere itself.

If you do this Moon plz make it an option like the auto close feature is now.
I have several UI setups and some of them I use the sphere with some of the menus open to replace some of my action bar functionality - trying to see how many mods I can dump.
;D

I'll see if I can repro the bug in regards to shadow form Moon - I have a shadow priest.
However I did not see this happening before the 3001 build.
I'll log on then post and let you know if it happens with me

I was thinking of just making all the menus close after 0.1 seconds of being open. Force you to be quick on your feet, which is a must in raids. I wanna see that mouse flying! In fact, I'll make it so the MOUSE disappears when you open a menu. Then you really gotta go all Obi-Wan on that stuff. *chuckle* It will be an option, no worries

hmm okay yes the cooldown is not leaving the shadowform button I have setup on my sphere. If I cast PowerWord Fort in non- shadowform cooldown counts work normally however soon as I switch into shadowform after casting the buff the 1 appears on the shadowform button and does not go away, just flashes. If I Cast PowerWord Fort while in shadowform the flashing 1 starts immmediately and if I leave shadowform it stops. So it seems it has something to do with shadowform. Hope this helps. ;D EDIT: Oh! I just thought of something. SHadowform is considered "shapeshfted" by some of Blizz's funtions ingame. I wonder if I were to create a macro of one of my class bar forms if it would do the same. I'll try it and see. That may give you more of a reference to hunt the bug down and SQUASH It ;D lol - most people are amazed how fast my mouse flys now Tree of Life FTW! However I thank you from the bottom of my roots to the tips of my lovely leaves that it will be an option /bow ;D Ele

K I tried to reproduce the flashing 1 on my druid by putting a shapeshift macro onto my sphere. cast buffs that enabled the cooldown switched forms back and forth there was no persistent 1 appearing for my druid. It would appear on the surface that this bug is unique to Shadow Form. Let me know if I can do anything else to assist you with this bug Moon! Ele

I haven't had time to look at the code yet. The buttons work their cooldown code by taking a look at the cooldown of the spell after it is cast. It then sets a counter and starts to count down until it hits 0, in which case it disappears. With shadowform, it might be constantly recycling the cooldown, so when my cooldown code checks it for a new cooldown and finds it was reset, it switches back. Of course, if the button ever lags for some reason and its internal counter eventually hits 0, it will stop checking for the cooldown until you actively hit the button again. lol.
I'll try to get a test case dumped out before work that you can test this with. Maybe an hour or two, otherwise I'll have to do it tonight =(

Sure enough, Shadowform is strange. It constantly renews it's cooldown (which is dumb, but whatever Blizz). I think they reason why they do it is so the icon stays grayed out while in use (because the cooldown will always be maxed out, it never does that circle cooldown effect). I don't know why they didn't make it the same as the shapeshift forms for Druids *shrug*
As for the button assigning bug, I still can't duplicate it. Is the "Display Lua Errors" options on in WOW's Interface Settings window? Maybe there is an error that is happening when you load and it is being surpressed?

Have you tried re-loading the UI or logging out and back in and seeing if the issue still exists? If it does, even after doing that, would you mind sending me the saved variables file for LunarSphere via email (as attachment or text message)? There might be an issue somewhere in the button configuration that I screwed up on =(

Well, I still couldn't reproduce the issue. At first I thought I did, because it wouldn't let me add anything to the sphere. But then, I unlocked it and it was fine, so I doubt that was the issue.
Next, I added some some spells and items to a button and they worked. I removed some and it worked. I deleted the button and re-made it and it worked. I edited it with the button menu and that worked. I used the button menu to delete everything and then remade it and it worked.
The only thing that didn't work was the tooltip updating. It wouldn't register that I updated it until I moved the mouse off the button and back on.
I don't know =( I'll keep at it though.

Moon,
if the issue still exists I would suggest it is not playing nicely with another mod lordc has.
Best way to troubleshoot this is to have lordc turn off all mods but Lunar Sphere and see if the issue remains. If it does then its your code. If it doesn't then lordc needs to turn on the mods one at atime until the one that causes the conflict is found.
I know that sounds like a lot of work but there is no real way to reproduce the error if it only exists with lordc's other mods turned on as you do not have the same setup as lordc.
On the other hand if it does exist with the mods turned off then it is your code andyou will eventually squash it.
Personally I have not yet had this issue and I am running well over 30 mods atm.
just a suggestion to help troubleshoot this bug.

From more detailed testing i can see that only scenario that isnt working is: creating button assigning some stuff on right/middle click saving entering button options menu again set left/middle click stuff that you just assigned from "Spell/Item/Macro" to "None" saving And nothing happens. Stuff that should disappear(you changed it to "None") is still there. Elesarr If thing above wont help i ll try to do it. But it will happen tomorrow(raid time close now).

it is my understanding the Left click must either be a menu or a spell/Item/Macro and that LunarSphere will not let you set it to none kinda pointless to have an empty button set for left click Of course Moon will let me know if Im way off base Ele
