The buttons simply say "Clicks" at the top, which seems a little redundant IMO since there is a mouse icon right next to the button's name in the tooltip. Kind of a good point. The 'clicks' text on all of the tooltips may be a remnant of something that is no longer needed? If you really look at it, it kind of looks silly--as 'clicks' looks like the title of the button/tooltip. EDIT: Sorry -- i really need to read more than skim....

lothaer: Thanks. Your issue is related to showing the cooldown on the sphere itself. I have placed a check in the code to make sure LS doesn't try to apply the cooldown effect on the sphere itself, as there is no support for that. All of your errors came from that by the looks of it =) @chaos: Thanks. I forgot to convert one other line of code to the new database format. I changed the line of code and it should be fixed for the next version out in a few minutes. AvaCam: I actually never noticed this because I don't have any spells on my test LunarSphere with a real cooldown. I think I isolated the issue and the new patch will have this fixed Thanks!

Version 710 is now available. Version 709 had various issues with the cooldowns, so I disabled the download link for it. This version should be stable again with all the fixes Sorry about that. As usual, please check the "Stage 7 Changelog" thread for details of what I added, changed, and fixed. Thanks!

If something is on cooldown and then I enter a BG, LS doesn't remember that it's on cooldown. It is still faded out, but the number countdown is gone.

Thanks. I'll add some code to refresh all cooldowns when zoning into an instance/bg. Gonna go test it out in a few minutes, but it probably won't be an immediate patch like 710.

Sometimes when the spells come off cooldown, the icon doesn't light up all the way again, it stays kinda dark even though it is not on cooldown anymore.
Also, my icons seem to be disappearing for some reason. First it was 4 of my teleport buttons and now it's my ice block as well. The button still works, and the tooltip, but it is just an empty clear icon. In the button settings the show icon is set to the correct click.

Are you switching between different cooldown effects? Or are you leaving it alone on the default when this happens? If it's not the default, what cooldown effect are you using? (None, fade in button, fade in icon, etc). Thanks Exuro Oh, and you're running the new 710 version, yeah?

Got the same problems as Exuro, while changing from fade out to fade in icon...

Of course I'm running the latest and greatest version. I'm shocked you would even doubt me. I'm using fade in icon. But the same thing happens if I use none, but it's even darker. Which is why I was using fade icon to begin with. When first trying out the cooldown effects I went through them all so I don't know if it's a sequencing thing or not. On a side note when I logged back in this morning my icons came back so all is well with that. Don't know what made them disappear in the first place but I guess they just had to reload again. Also this version is buggy cause when I go to my bank, it doesn't take stuff out for some odd reason.

Try not to switch between the different cooldown options and see if the problem persists. If it doesn't, I think I know what the issue is and have fixed it for version 711. If it STILL happens, even if you don't switch the effects at all, then I will need to try everything I can to replicate the issue on my end and see if I can fix it. The problem that I noticed is that when a cooldown ends, not ALL of the cooldown effects are actually removed properly. This can be a problem if you are experiencing lag, and here is an example: Cooldown effect: Fade in icon: It starts, totally clear. Global cooldown in 1.5 seconds. The NEXT screen update, because some some crazy lag, happens 1.6 seconds later. The button is no longer on cooldown, so the cooldown text is removed. However, I don't have code to set the button's icon to 100% opaque. I relied on the cooldown effect code to do that. However, since the button's cooldown ends, this effect doesn't run, thus ... your button icon is still transparent. If you cast a spell again, you should be fine. However, if you switch to a NEW cooldown effect, the setup for that effect might not actually make the ICON 100% opaque, so when you cast a spell, the icon is not touched, and it's still clear. I added code to reset every effect when the cooldown starts, and end every effect when the cooldown ends, incase the cooldown effect code doesn't run very well The bank top-off feature is like cake. And we all know the cake is a lie =P

Moongaze, is there a way to set the buttons to start expanded but remain toggle-able? Prior to this version it was that way but one of my character's button menus always start closed when I log him in and another character's always start expanded. I may be missing a setting I guess but I've verified that they have similar settings for all their main buttons as far as I can tell.

My ice block button disappeared again today when I was in a BG. No idea why. It still worked functionality wise, but the icon was just clear.

The buttons will start expanded if you had the menu open when you logged out. The only time this isn't the case is if you have a delay set for your menu button. If a delay is set, the button will auto-close in a set amount of time and, if you log out, it will be closed when you log in.
When I added the new menu opening/closing abilities, I removed the "Auto-close menus" option from the sphere tab. If you had this option turned on when LS upgraded itself, it set every menu button to have a delay of 3 seconds. If it was off, it left the delay off as well (That way, it functioned as it was supposed to, prior to the user upgrading).
So, make sure the "Set auto-close delay" is unchecked on your menu button's settings window. If it is turned off, yet it still has the menus hidden when you log out with them open, let me know and I'll do some more tests.Heh ... I couldn't do it either. It was a typo on my part. Fixed for version 711 =) Exuro: Thanks. I'm gonna keep looking into it

As for the buttons, the "Clicks" part pretty much has to stay, since the little mouse icon can't be shown on the first line. I just had an idea last night about the "Clicks" text at the top of the tooltips. Perhaps you could make the text customizable. For example, on my priest I have a menu for all of my buffs. At the top of the button options frame you could offer a Label field that would show up in the tooltip. Then as a default, if there's no text label entered, it could just say "Clicks" as it does now. This seems like a good idea because right now there's no good way to label the menu buttons aside from their assigned icons. I'm really just nit-picking though. Keep up the great work.

That's a pretty good idea. I will look into doing something like that in the future. For now, I added that to the suggestion thread Thanks!

I figured out a little bit more about my "disappearing buttons". My cooldown option is Fade in Icon. What is happening is I use a spell, the icon goes near clear and the cooldown count starts. Then as the cooldown count counts down, the icon is supposed to reappear gradually over time right? What is actually happening is the text is counting down, but the icon sometimes get "stuck" and doesn't reappear. This means that when the countdown is done, you can use the spell, but the icon looks "clear" or "disappeared".
If you need any more details feel free to ask. It seems to happen the most with ice block, then ice barrier, then other random spells.
Btw thanks for adding the restock from bank to your maybe list for public release.

I think I solved it the other day, but I haven't uploaded the patch yet. I need to finish one more feature before I drop another release It had to do with the effects not being fully removed when the cooldown was finished, as you have talked about. Thanks again, Exuro!

Version 711 is now live. DrDamage users will need to turn on the "Enable DrDamage tooltips" option in the Debug tab if they want to see their tooltips, as I have made this disabled by default. I added several new things, all fairly small, but still worth while for most people. Special stuff for gauges, special stuff for reagents, special stuff for ... stuff ... lol. As usual, please check the "Stage 7 Changelog" thread for details on what I added/changed/fixed. Thanks!
