Well, I think I finished up all the work I was going to put into version 709. I'm going to run some tests and make sure some of my debugging code is out of there before I upload it. Sooo ... update either tonight or tomorrow =)

Version 709 is now live. Please check the "Stage 7 Changelog" thread for details on what I added, changed, and fixed. Sorry it took a while, but this version does have a lot of fun stuff that people can try and break now =)

Version 710 is now available. Version 709 had various issues with the cooldowns, so I disabled the download link for it. This version should be stable again with all the fixes Sorry about that. As usual, please check the "Stage 7 Changelog" thread for details of what I added, changed, and fixed. Thanks!

Not really progress on the addon, but I did just wipe out a user who spammed this forum. The forum seems to be reset back to normal with that users' post removed, but I figured that I would post this so that the "newest" post of this forum isn't listed as "May" ... O.o

Another update for where I'm at with Stage 7. As per the last big update post, if there was a suggestion made in the past and I said I would add it before the public release, but it is not on this list, the simple reason is that this beta has been going on for a long time and I really need to finish it up. Almost 14 months of just this project ... heh ... I think I might need a vacation ^_^ Nonetheless, if it is not on this list, it will be on the "coming soon" features for after the public release. Final features to be added- Sphere Text/Gauges: Item Count. Specify the item to track, specify the max that you care about (for percentage display or gauge display)
- Update memory usage statistics for each feature of LunarSphere (some have changed, even if only a little bit)
- Sphere text/gauge events - More of them, but I can't specify what new ones, since I haven't finalized the list
- Templates for every class. I'm actually making a lot of the templates right now with a little tool I created, so they shouldn't take too long...
- DrDamage tooltip toggle (if you never want to see it)
- Localization ... I'll be finalizing some of the last text pieces I have in LunarSphere and creating the localization code very soon, so I'll be asking for that help I asked for several months ago with the conversion =)
Features that MIGHT make it in before public release, but probably won't and may have to wait until after public release:- FPS, Latency status button types and sphere text/gauge events
- Druid mana tracker event for sphere text/gauges (to know how much mana your non-shapeshift form has while you are in a shapeshift form)
- Energy tick sphere text/gauge event (similar to 5 second rule, but for energy)
- Gauge mark skin support. This is something really crazy and I'm not even sure it will work well. It will support 1-32 marks, with one small art file ... and it will look cool ... but might also look lame. I have to run tests to see what it looks like before I make my decision.
- Speech tag: <delay:n> where n represents an amount of seconds to wait before the speech is displayed. Useful for summoning a pet RPing, where you start summoning ("Here boy! Come her my little imp!"), and the next line has a 3-4 second delay ("Good boy! Here's a piece of baby sealion flesh. Goooood boy!") for when it finally appears. Other uses could be found, of course ...
- lol, bank restock =P
Oh, and lastly, the LunarAddons website. I've been adding content to it over the past few days, but it still isn't ready. That is something I'll be working on as well during this time

Version 711 is now live. DrDamage users will need to turn on the "Enable DrDamage tooltips" option in the Debug tab if they want to see their tooltips, as I have made this disabled by default. I added several new things, all fairly small, but still worth while for most people. Special stuff for gauges, special stuff for reagents, special stuff for ... stuff ... lol. As usual, please check the "Stage 7 Changelog" thread for details on what I added/changed/fixed. Thanks!

Sooo ... I'm going to be providing two templates with the next version of LunarSphere. One for mages, one for druids. I also added a few other things that were fairly easy to add, such as defining the sphere's position from the center of the screen (for those who want to fine-tune LS's location without having to drag it around and hope it's centered, hehe).
Various bug fixes also and ... other stuff. I will probably be doing another 2-3 versions after this one (with more templates per version and finalized features). Then, I will be doing two more stages (Don't worry, they won't take two months):
Stage 8 will be the finished version folks. All features I want for the public release will be in this version, but it just needs localization. So, when Stage 8 is live, I will be working on the translation with the help of everyone who wants to help and Stage 8 shouldn't be very long at all. Stage 8 will have a new file called "moduleLocale.lua" which will store all of the localization information. People who want to help translate to their langauge just need to edit that file and send it to me, or post it in the forum. All features should work perfectly, and if there are any bugs left over, this would be the time to catch them. That said, this is also the time where I pretty much stop working on LS, feature wise, for a while. The public release will come and there will be a couple week window before I start working on LS again, because I need a seriously badly needed break, haha. I don't anticipate Stage 8 lasting longer than a week at most. If people provide translations, it will go quickly. If not, I will google-translate and, although not the best, it would still get the job done ... in a week.
Stage 9 will be the update where all features are localized and in place. Once again, nothing new, feature wise. Just localization. This will be one, maybe two releases, and very fast. The purpose of this stage is to make sure the localization works. It should only be one release. Stage 9 will be the last beta stage, and will also be pretty much the same release as the public release. The only thing that will separate the Stage 9 release and the public release will be the new credits tab for credits information. That's it.
So, in summary: Stage 8 is the final feature release of LS. It is coming very very soon. I just need to finish the remaining templates and a few more sphere/gauge events. Stage 9 is localization (1-2 releases, max) and then the public release.

Version 712 is now live. The first set of templates have made their way into LS, along with some various other bug fixes and features. Please check the "Stage 7 Changelog" thread for details. Thanks! Also, about the templates ... the mages and druids out there who want to test them out for me, simply do the following: 1) Go to the Templates tab and create a new backup of your LunarSphere data with the backup options (You could keep the old backup you have, but I always recommend making new backups over time). 2) Select the Mage template (or the Druid template) and hit "Load" 3) Load all three of the settings it will let you (Sphere, Button, Skin) and hit okay 4) After the UI reloads, you will have a new sphere. It should have one of every spell you current have (spells you don't have will not show. Mages, however, will have every mana gem in their mana gem catagory, but if they don't have the spell, the spell won't be linked to the gem ... only thing I can do right now). 5) Check to see if any spells are missing (hopefully you know your class by heart, otherwise, time to get re-acquainted again =). I will be honest, NO RACIAL SPELLS will be found. I did this on purpose, so ignore those. Also ignore your profession skills, and pretty much everything else on your first tab of the spell book. All we care about are the class-specific spells. 6) If you are a Druid, make sure the spells in the stance menu are there for bear/dire bear and cat form. I left Moonkin/Tree and all travel forms empty. The Moonkin and Tree forms should gray out the spells you can't use anyway on your buttons. 7) If everything is okay, let me know. If something is missing, let me know. When done, restore your backup =)

So, I heard that the Mage template works well (i.e., the spells work as intended, even though the layout might not be ideal for some ... but it does have all the spells). I have not heard about the Druid layout, so hopefully a level 70 Druid can check that out for me. The next update (which will be Weds afternoon, since I'm too tired to write the changelog right now and am going to bed) will have the Warlock template. I will say this, Warlocks ... you have too many spells! My god... haha. Anyway, I tried to make it as intuitive as possible while also adding EVERY spell to the layout. There are around 6 or 7 menus ... O.O More info on Weds

It is the very fact that we have os many spells that makes LunarSphere so ideal. Now, trying to cast shadowbolts through lunarsphere might be tricky at best - I just use it for things where minute precision onto a small button in the middle of combat is not required. I am simply not that good. Summon, healthstones, food and water - that is what saves me the most space.

Hehe. I, personally, am using LunarSphere as an action bar replacement, so my priest has every spell on the sphere, with one menu setup with keybinds which is typically hidden since I know the spells by heart. I also dragged a few of the menu buttons off the sphere and have them situated in certain locations that, when sized to certain scales, fits my interface quite nicely. The sad part about the templates is that I want them to have all the spells on them. I know that a good amount of people will use LS for buffs, food, water, and other misc. spells that they won't use often, which is why I am trying to place these spells in menus that make sense. An attack spell menu, a curse menu, a channeled spell menu, a pet menu, a pet action bar menu, a buff menu, and a healthstone/firestone/soulstone/spellstone menu. So, for those who don't care about the first three menus that I mentioned, they can just delete the entire menu and replace those 3 main buttons with 3 spells they might want and not make those buttons menus. Or, someone might want to use LS as an action bar replacement and just drag all these menus off, set them to always show, and then assign some keybinds and be rid of Bartender or Bongos or whatever else they might use. I figure that by having all the spells there, the user won't have to set up as much and only need to tinker a little bit if they want The Warlock class, though, was a challenge. Too many attack type spells (curses, instant cast, channel, and normal cast time spells, oi!=) The only bad thing about the warlock template is that I can't have the left-click use Healthstone, right-click Create Healthstone idea. It just just left-click to create a healthstone right now, but all 6 types can be made since I have all 6 in a row. The reason why I can't do it right now is because of the talent-enchanced stones. While I could assign a basic "Master Healthstone" to the button with its item ID, if you make a better healthstone, it won't be recognized. I am looking into a good way to do this though. I WANT to have those items in the template. Right now, there is a single "Use best healthstone" button type added to the potions button, but that's about it. To make my idea work, I would need to assign the item NAME to the button, not the item ID ... and that has localization issues. Sooo ... I'm thinking of tricks to make it work

I have a level 70 premade warrior, rogue, paladin, and shaman queued for copying over to a public test realm and will make these templates, hopefully, within the next 5 days. The wait time is about 5 days for a copy, so they might not get worked on until then. My priest finally got copied, so I'm going to monkey with the talents (for free) on the PTR and build the priest template today as well, hopefully getting it in for today's version The hunter will be hand-made like the mage, druid, and warlock, and that one will be worked on while the other 4 transfer over.

I added some custom code, as well as some auto-localization for the healthstones when loading up the default Warlock template. It will now be left-click use, right click create. If you load the template and you don't have the creation spell for that particular healthstone, both the healthstone item and spell will be removed from the button, since you don't have either. I am quite pleased with how it turned out.
Since the PTR appears to be down for me, I'm just going to wrap-up version 713 and release it. The priest template will have to wait. File will be available soon! I'll post again when it's ready ...

Version 714 is now live. There isn't much added to this release, as it is just a simple fix for the level 30 mounts. I haven't been able to work on LunarSphere much this past week or two, but the next update will hopefully have more meat on it =) As usual, please check the lastest post in the "Stage 7 Changelog" thread for details on what was added/changed/fixed. Thanks again!
