Hi all /wave
Here is my request / suggestion.
We all know we get quests that give us a item we have to click to either attack npcs or use durning the quest in some fashion.
My suggestion is to make a sub-menu option that allows the menu of buttons to be swappable.
IE - right now, once your finished editing the buttons you cannt really change them if you get a clicky item and want to do a quest ( at least I dont know how ).
Ive been keeping one of the original button bars up and changed it using bartender ( sigh .. extra screen space lost ).
So im looking for a way to allow swapping buttons around to add in clicky items etc with out having to go the "edit" option of cntl click the sphere check the edit option .. add in the clicky uncheck edit etc etc etc
Just one to be able to make a sub menu that can be opened and then have items swapped in and out.

In the debug tab you have an option called "Force drag-and-drop assignment". If you check that, you'll be able to drag items/spells directly to a LS-button without having to go into edit mode.

sounds good and thank you.
but, being a debug option would that cause more over head for ui functions etc?
wouldnt want to force error checking or more memory usage etc then would be needed.
( just wondering .. thank you )

If you turn that debug option on, it just sets a flag inside LS to avoid the "Are you in combat?" check when you drag stuff to the buttons. So, no extra overhead. Still, if you're in combat, you won't be able to assign stuff, but most quest items you'll get and want to switch to will be out of combat anyway
