I've been trying to get an old addon that I loved working (Totemus) - and ran across your great addon. In looking at your addon - it's is almost exactly what that addon did - and so much more... In playing with it I thought of some quick suggestions:
* make a '2nd last used menu item' option for button action. This will allow the behavior of: r-click: open menu l-click: recast the last menu item I picked (e.g. strength of earth totem) middle-click: cast the last different one i picked (e.g. tremor totem)
so you kind of have a first choice, second choice, or bring up the menu behavior... Don't know if this translated well into this post...
* Have a per-toon 'hide all' option (with a slash or fubar command to reopen the settings window
* meta menus: Be able to set a button for 'trinkets', 'mounts', or 'weapons', or 'quest items' and have the sub items auto populate. An advanced version of this could be tooltip keyword based - so 'poison' or 'reagent: earth totem' or equipped items with a 'use:' capability could be auto entered in a menu list. Alternately - and I haven't looked to see if you've already done this or not - but exposing the button/menu lists through method calls could allow others to do this kind of functionality.
Seriously though - amazing add-on.... If you need someone to assist - I'd be happy to - just send me a PM from the boards and let me know...

oh - thought of another one....
have the ability to import and export templates as formatted strings - similar to the way the Pawn addon works - that way users can post their templates in discussion forums (like this one)... it may be a bit too much data though - especially when people use up all the possibilities for their buttons

Yeah... open up the Saved Variables file for LunarSphere and you'll see a mess of a database. It might be a little much. If people don't want to open the export file, or send the export file to people, I might add a string dump of it. It will be a 10-40kb file, normally, so you'll have 10k to 40k characters to paste places We'll see...

I've been trying to get an old addon that I loved working (Totemus) - and ran across your great addon. In looking at your addon - it's is almost exactly what that addon did - and so much more... Thanks! I'm glad you're liking this crazy addon project of mine hehe. I've seen a few Totemus, Necrosis, and Cryolysis users transfer over to the LS project recently and that's awesome to see. I've also seen Bartender and Bongos users transfer when the 3.0 patch hit since there were no updates available at the time for those users. So, the more the merrier! =) Welcome! This is a feature that people have been wanting for a long, long time ... and I do plan to add it. I just haven't gotten around to it yet. This feature, as with the "last submenu item" feature is restricted while in combat, so this behavior is most ideal for outside of combat because of it. I actually have some of the frame work in place for this suggestion, but I stopped working on it a while ago to take care of some bug fixes and, um ... the Bejeweled project as well. But, I will get this in, so no worries =) Sure. I'll add another slash command to hide everything, not just the sphere. And another to show everything, not just the sphere. The options menu slash command already exists along with the sphere hiding, so I guess those are good. Ah... Autobar stuff. Well, there was discussion a while ago about a quest item auto-populate menu and it was something I would like to do in the future, but I have no plans for the immediate future for auto-population of menus other than the presets that I offer already. Adding this menu choice will open up a lot of possibilities but, honestly ... I want to hold off on it until after the public release. Definitely a good idea though ^_^ All of the buttons, technically, can be edited with API calls that LunarSphere uses... but I have not documented any of it and using it improperly will royally screw up a button and/or menu. You can grab data that a button uses, per stance and per click action (left, middle, and right) and you can also place that information, via API calls. Something like: -Turn on Edit Button mode -Set Button Data for all buttons to be edited -Load Button Data for each button that was edited (which is what the button edit window does after saving the data, which updates a lot of data in the client) -Turn off Edit Button mode. If someone wanted to create an addon that interfaces with LunarSphere, well ... maybe not attach to it, but rather, be a helper addon that will edit the button database for the user, that'd be cool too. But it might be a little more complicated than I make it out to sound, haha. Thanks for the praise For right now, I just need people to test this bad-boy and break it any way they can in order to make sure it's solid for public release. Also, suggestions are always wonderful =)
