First off, I just installed the addon and LOVE IT!
Now, here's my idea for keybindings: while all the button menus are closed, each one has it's own keybinding to open it, NUM1 to NUM5 for example. Is it possible to restrict the keybindings use to a menu that is open?
For example, say I have 5 menus, with 5 buttons each. I want to click the third button in the fourth menu, so I press 4 to open the desired menu, and 3 for the desired button in the selected (open) menu. This is as opposed to allowing "3" to open the menu corresponding to 3, but rather the 3 is understood to refer to a button in the open menu.
Thanks!

I can look into such keybinding choices, but I can't make any promises on if and when I can get it in. Sounds kinda cool though =)

Of course, does this mean:
All menus are closed. Pressing 1 will open the 1st menu. Now, pressing 1 again will use the first item in the menu. If you want to use another menu, though ... you need to manually close the menu, unless it has auto close on, in which case to cast spells you pretty much do this:
Healing spell? Healing menu = 1, spell to use = 4, so you press: 14. Damage spell? Damage menu = 2, spell to use = 8, so you press: 28. Buff spell? Buff menu = 3, spell to use = 1, so you press 31.
... if thats what you want, it will be a little tough to put together, but I'm sure I could manage. This would essentually force the menus to always be closed until you need them, though ... and won't allow more than one menu to be open at a time, using this style. But that's just what I'm thinking, I could be wrong =)

you could always Autoclose the menus after the second button is pressed.
Though you will need a way of closing the menus if you pressed the wrong firsts button, and also to find a way to not get confused with Blizzard's action bars.

I like this function, I propose 0 to close the menus. The only problem i find is when you have 10+ menu or 10+ submenus...

Thoughts... I use my keypad for most of my actions in LS, so in my case I could use the row of keys on the main keyboard as 1 through =......... But that would suck. I'm better at 10 key than numbers on the main keyboard... IDEA! Press the button that opens the menu to focus the next keystroke, which is the # of the button that has the command. So if menu1 focus is keypad1, and I want button1 in that menu--which is set to keypad1 as well, I would press keypad1, keypad1? I don't know if that'd work or be ridiculously hard to code. Maybe the modifier thing would work better. If it were CTRL+KEYPAD1 for menu1 instead, it would be CTRL+Keypad1 then Keypad1. And if I wanted Menu2, Button1 I could press CTRL+Keypad2 then Keypad1, and so on. There are only so many modifiers, though, which would make it difficult to utilize the 3 clicks feature of the button. And for someone like me, maybe have the option to leave the menus open as required. /babble

I like this function, I propose 0 to close the menus. The only problem i find is when you have 10+ menu or 10+ submenus... I agree with 0 to close all menus. Now on the issue of controlling 10 or more menus/submenus/buttons, this would be solved if the user could define single keys to represent any number over 9. For instance, QWERTYUIOP, the top row of the keyboard, could be assigned to numbers 10 to 19. Another possible solution is using a modifier key like ctrl/alt/shift, or a user defined modifier key to alloy the addon to "listen" to keystrokes as long as the modifier is held down. So <modifier> <Num1> <Num2> <releaseModifier> would be read as a 12.

I've found that you can use sub menu buttons when said menu is closed via hotkeys. So if you already know what button you are going to use and the menu is closed you don't have to open the menu
What you guys are thinking of is the Bizz main bar that can be changed to 6 different bars and you could have X buttons to switch to certain menus and have 12 buttons assigned to the sub menu buttons like 1 through =
