I have been looking to use an addon like this for a while now and I really like that I wouldn't need numerous different addons for different classes.
I think it would be great to have as a option the main button on a menu change to the last used item. In addition the menu's icon could change to that of the last used item so that you immediately know what was used.
Example: 1) Druid sets a up a buff menu consisting of Gift of the Wild, Mark of the Wild, Thorns and Omen of Clarity. [Default menu icon shown is GotW as that was the first item added to the menu and that is the current buff.] 2) Druid selects Omen of Clarity and uses it. [Menu icon is now OoC as that was the last used item]
Would something like that be possible? I think it could make in combat use of this addon much faster.

That is already one of the special button options. It's called "use last submenu action".
For your setup, I recommend making left click "use last submenu action" and right click "open menu". The icon will update accordingly with this setup.

Exuro is correct and this feature is in LS, but it doens't auto-update until after combat ends (or it will do it instantly while out of combat). Since Blizzard doesn't let addons assign actions to buttons in combat, I can only do it while out of combat. But LS will remember the last used action and apply it to the button after combat Hope this is what you want, because that's all I can do

My apologies for suggesting something that is already there. Would the function of having the Menu button graphic auto update to the Last Used item's graphic be possible? Or is that something that is already in the works and I missed that to.

You can click the menu button to bring up the button settings window. On the middle section of the window, you'll see "Show icon" and you can specify the left, middle, or right click action to show the icon of. So, if your menu opens with left-click and your "last used submenu action" is right-click, select the "right-click" icon in the "Show Icon" section and you're good to go
