Well as the new patch came out as everyone knows they had to go through the long process of updating all their addons and pretty much have to keep and eye on updates daily until things stablize again. I ran across this addon update program and was wondering if it would be possible to add lunarsphere to it. It is called Wowmatrix. They currently update over 1400+ addons with the list growing every day. I emailed them and it seems like it would be easy to get added to their update database. Here is the response from the email I recieved from them. > > >Thanks for contacting us! > >If you'd like to get an AddOn included in WowMatrix, >simply send us the name of the AddOn as well as the >URL to the usual download page either on the AddOn's >official website or on a major download site. > >We should have it working with WoMatrix within a day >or two. > >Best Regards, > >Laurie >WowMatrix.com >http://www.wowmatrix.com/

Right now, I don't have a solid or stable download page, so having their program find my file and snag it might be a little difficult. However, in the next week or two (my goal for a timeframe at least), I hope to have LunarSphere finished and ready for public release. When that happens, LS will have a default file name of "LunarSphere.zip" and that program should be able to handle it okay. Right now, unless you can figure out the naming scheme (LunarSphere_(version number goes here).zip), it's hard to tell if I updated. I might stop with the 600 updates and go to 700 (like I just did). So, yeah ... I would like to add my addon to their database. Just give me a little bit more time to have this thing working

I never trust those things when they aren't connected to an actual mod site. At least then if I get a trojan I know who to blame....

Downloaded WoWMatrix, scanned it extensively (call me paranoid, but I'd like to keep my WoW info...) and gave it a try. I have to say I'm impressed by it, although the only hitch I've found is that it tends to grab files that are "still under development", aka files that authors are working on but haven't officially released yet. Other than that, it's actually quite handy.
