I looked and looked and looked to see if it was a option in current LS and on forums. If I missed it, I'm really tired I guess.
Could you add the Latency/framerate/addon info to a icon that can be placed in a slot? With a mouse over info pop up.
The hide bags option is in tons of mods, but I never use it because it hides the Latency bar. If this was added I would hide bag bar in a instant.
P.S. This is a god send to mages, just found it today finally. ;D Love it, awesome mod, keep up the good work.

Could be a good idea. If you want to see how another mod does it I know Natur Enemy Cast Bar allows you to show bars for both latencey and framerate. You could even make it cool and put them on gauges. I think what people would want is just someplace to see what their latency is after hiding the main blizzard bar. This could be done by adding it to the center button tooltip or something like that.

Yeah I want it to be there, just out of the way, doesn't have to be visible all the time. Putting it in a drop down menu from LS I think would be most convenient.

I will have four options for this in the future, but I don't know when.
-A button type that you can assign to a button (if it's the same click type that is set to show the icon, you'll see the visual representation of the lag as well [red, yellow, green], otherwise it will be in the tooltip as normal when mouse-overed)
-Sphere text event (it will probably cycle, showing FPS, latency, and addon memory usage every 1-2 seconds per item)
-Sphere gauge event (for latency and maybe FPS as another gauge event ... although that might be a little strange and I might not do that)
-Spawn a floating button. This button is JUST for FPS/latency/addon info. Looks like one of the sphere buttons, but you can put it wherever you like. Mousing over it gives the exact same info as the original lag bar ... and maybe some extra info, who knows.
I'm partial towards the first and last idea to be added, and not to crazy about the middle two ... but what does everyone else think?

All this gauge stuff got me thinking... It'd be pretty cool if you could make additional spheres (without any buttons on them) or half circles that would carry guauges for different things... This way, you could almost make your UI look like the dashboard of a car. Shot at 2007-08-09 Of course, this is for version 2.0

*snicker* I like the idea, and I might consider spawning new spheres in 2.0 =) I started making the sphere module with the intent of spawning new spheres from it with ease ... so who knows ... of course, right now, it can't spawn more than one sphere. It's pretty much hard-coded for one. Some of the framework is there though ... for future expansions.

I like that one myself, although the extra spheres in the future sounds fancy lol. Very simple mouse over option. Although i don't think i would want it shown all the time in a random place on my screen.
Plus isn't the buttons movable from the Sphere in a upcoming stage? So you could have it floating any where as you said in #3. Although I would probably just put it in a convenient drop down menu.
Nice pic wolftusk haha, very cool idea.

I would figure that is someone were to drag the button off the sphere (the 10 main buttons are the dragable, nothing else) ... that button could hold your bags and/or menu icons. The menu can open with one of the clicks, and another click could be set as the latency button. That way, you'll always see the lag display, and if you click it, BAM! There's your bags and menu icons. Hehe.
I know that with some peoples' interface setups, they are only using 4-7 buttons around the sphere (the other ones would fall off screen) so when they're able to drag those buttons elsewhere, it will be good times.
