Moon, will there be a LS-pet bar with automatically filled (and user-definable) pet actions? For example, when doing this horrible Shartuul-Quest (which I still regularly fail to complete ) one gets a pet bar with blizzard-defined actions to control the specials of each pet. As LS can hide default UI elements, I hope to exchange the standard bars with LS completely (as soon as keybinding is implemented), but such pet bars may break the UI. ... besides, I'd like to have an own LS-submenu dedicated to my pets - as warlock, you have different specials for each pet, which means different pet bars. Setting them up each time when summoning a new pet sounds weird. (Hunters may find that fancy, too). I hope you get my meaning and this hasn't been suggested anywhere else (though I searched for it).

Haggo... it seems to me that this might be akin to stances, if I bring my Cat instead of my Bear, my roll changes, and so do the commands for my pets. Hopefully LS will be able to change automatically depending upon which pet I have. As per those special quest bars.... i have no idea, what do other total UI replacement mods do?

You beat me in suggesting this I don't play my hunter much, but this would be great for all quests that uses a pet bar. Like the other day when I was doing the Chess event in Karazhan and I don't see the petbar since I have hidden everything except LS.... my guildies where a bit annoyed with me ;D But since I think this would require a lot of work, I don't expect to see it until after the "finished" version of LS is out.

Hmmm ... (that's all I have to say) j/k Well, I can make a "Pet Menu" option that will function like the "Open Menu" function, but will open a menu that is pre-setup with the pet skills. Since I haven't done any special quests (that I know of) that uses a pet bar as well ... does this mean that if you are a hunter or a warlock, you have TWO pet bars appear, one for your pet and one for the quest one? Or can you only have one at a time? I have some ideas on how to tackle this issue. It would essentially pull the graphics from the pet bar, and when you click the LS button, it's like a click-binding to the original pet button. This *should* work, but the issue of in-range, energy, and cooldown will need to be addressed ... so I'd need to write that code as well. This is a good suggestion and I will look into when I can add it. I think the saying "after LS goes public" will probably be true ... although the idea of adding a pre-set pet bar was running around in my head for a while, so who knows

One can only have one pet bar; if you're lock or hunter, your standard bar gets replaced by the quest one.
Pet classes sometimes like to change the order of skills on the pet bar itself - might that be a problem or should we be able to resort the pulling LS does?

Well, the idea would be like this:
A bunch of pet buttons form for the LS menu button. Button #1 maps to pet button #1, #2 goes to #2, etc. If there is no action in the pet button, the LS button stays hidden. I'm not sure if I can do the submenu compression, as the pet bar COULD change during battle, and I can't move or resize stuff while in battle.
So, it should be fine, if we work with how LS pulls the data. *shrug*
