the soulshard counter in necrosis is actually the only reason I havent completely changed to LS,
LS looks great but im really missing this feature.
also, it would be cool if its possible to scale a button (like you can make the banish button in necrosis bigger)

Both of those are scheduled to make their appearances in future versions so keep an eye out.

I know that, for now, people have been just dragging a soulshard to one of the buttons and using it as a counter while they wait for me to add the feature you suggested. When the feature is added, it will be known as the "Item Count" sphere text event, which will show the count of whatever item you drag there. It will be ideal for people wanting to see their soul-shard count, candle count, ankh count, or whatever else you drag there. I'm doing it this way so I have one section of code that takes care of everything, instead of 10-20 blocks of code, each dealing with only one item. Saves space and memory usage There will also be some customized tooltip creation for the main sphere that will be able to display a LOT of information based upon what you set, which will be cool to check out when it's finished.

Also like to suggest an option to destroy shards after obtaining X amount (based on user preference or soul bag size). Really nice for those Affliction locks that want to get the mana regen off of "Improved Drain Soul" without the cramming their bags with extra shards they don't want/need.

I suppose this can go into a separate tab, maybe called "Bags". People have suggested that I add the ability to assign items to bags (so when you pick them up, they go to their assigned bag instead of the backpack). I guess I can put your suggestion here as well, but make it so you can just drag and drop items and you can assign a maximum number to have on hand. So, if you summon more than 46 waters, and you only want 40, it would be rid of the extra six. Only want 3, or 10 shards? Set the max and it will dump 'em. Maybe people would want a "free up bag space" option, where if you happen to have only (0, 1, or 2) free bag slots left, total, LS could crawl through your inventory and junk gray items (lowest level first) to make room. ... Geez, LS is going to be turning into an all-in-one addon if I keep this up. Oh, and were you able to get the new version downloaded okay, chaosinc?

Yeah, got the new version fine. Skipped the "Most Updated Version" top link or whatever it is.
Although I wouldn't bother dipping into auto dumping/selling grays and such. There are a lot of mods out there already that do it and wind up overlapping the feature. Currently, I have 3 mods I used for different separate features, but all of em have dumping/selling grays. I don't even have it active on this mod (no offense) cause it'd be redundant. I'd just stick with the "Set Item # Max" settings and leave it at that.

That's why it would be an option, not a required thing Either way, the bag stuff won't be in for a while, so there will be time to rethink some stuff. I might not even touch the bag sorting stuff, but I know a lot of people who want it will be disappointed. I just gotta see where it fits in later on... As some people have mentioned, I do plan to update this addon for quite a long time, so this will be active for quite a long time as well. Some addons are bound to break and never be updated, so some people like the idea of me adding lots of random stuff that other addons do. I haven't added the memory tracking/disabling functions to LS yet (there are some, but they are basic and only remove 72k of memory that LS doesn't use) to keep the memory usage down. All these extra features, when and if I add them, will, in theory, not take up any memory while disabled. Of course, to enable them will possibly require a UI reload, but that's an easy price to pay to save 30-130k of memory (for those who want a low memory usage footprint).

Any chance we can get a simple shard count option for the Sphere Event til the uber code is complete?

Yeah, the item count sphere text should pop up in Stage 5 ...
Right now I'm focusing on the Button Settings window, as well as re-thinking some parts of the button database. I have to add a bunch of new things to the database and I'm trying not to increase the saved variables size too much. The more data I store in that database, the larger LS will be, memory wise. I'm going to be doing some akward stuff in the future, haha ...
