Hi, I've been using LunarSphere ever since stage 1, and I have to say I enjoy it a lot. I even got rid of some addons because of the functions that LunarSphere provides. I would like to request that the buttons on the sphere can be rotated angularly, i.e. from 0-360 degress. If it's possible, maybe I would see the center sphere with Square or other skins (similar to that of the minimap)? Right now it just sits there in my UI and not really part of anything because I only use a few buttons. And, maybe I missed this, but is there an option to assign key-bindings on these buttons (in stage 3)? Thanks. p.s. Keep up the great work, Moongaze! This is one of the most promising mods that I've seen

If I recall correctly, keybindings are coming in stage 5. Most of the skins you are looking for are coming w/ stage 4. Also if I understand correctly, you want to rotate your buttons around the sphere. Supposr for this is not really needed since you can drag any button anywhere on the sphere w/o redoing them.

Hi Tenson! and welcome to the forum! Moon will be adding rotation support for the menus. There is a discussion with details about it, however it is somewhat buried ;D I'll dig around and see if I can find it for you. Exuro was correct with everything he said so if you are looking to move a button or menu without remaking them you press and hold Ctrl, left click and drag to new location. Just make sure that LunarSphere is in edit mode before you try to do that Ele edit: here you go Tenson: moongazeaddons.proboards79.com/index.cgi?board=lssuggestions&action=display&thread=1181888710

Hey!
Thanks everyone!
I tried to search around, but didn't find specific information on those, but thanks!
I will read into the edit mode and move the buttons.
I can't wait for Stage 4 and 5! ;D

I'm a big fan of customizing stuff, which was one of the design goals and overall *big picture* for this addon. That's the one things I think most of the other sphere addons lacked, and if I remember correctly, something that pretty everyone screamed about. My favorite quote from someone who didn't quite get what I was doing is the following: For one, the "big picture" of this addon is NOT for Hunters. It's for all classes, which also means, all players. So of course there will be features that a Hunter won't use. I'm assuming they tried Stage 3. Also, "sphere addon in the spirit of Venantes" .. what spirit might that be? Here's the description of Venantes: If that's the spirit of Venantes, I'm pretty certain that LunarSphere can do all of that, or will do all of that, if you look at the list of features planned in the Stage Breakdown. I'm happy to know that there are a lot of people checking this addon out and seeing what it's all about. I've also had emails and messages with people telling me that I've been very good to my user base, by actually addressing bugs QUICKLY (as well as telling them why it happens, which I think is good practice so people know that I know what I am doing, and not just dropping code to take care of the bug while it's STILL in there), as well as adding features people want, and keeping track of features they want for a later time. Anyway, welcome to the boards, and feel free to register your name if you want to be included on the beta tester credits screen for the addon. 74 names already, and growing!

/cheer Moongaze
as I've said in another post, the majority of the WoW community is so used to the restrictive "class" based spheres that they fail to see the potential and adaptability of LunarSphere.
Your quick turnarounds in releases and your careful attention to all who post are a testament to you and the spirit of LunarSphere.

Moongaze... I couldn't agree with Elesarr more... This is by far a very under rated mod in general by the WoW community... But I am sure that once it hits full release that everyone will love it and it will get many many downloads I for one have gotten rid of all the other sphere mods I used... Even though you don't have the speech thing implemented yet which is what I was keeping those mods for

Wow. What an honor to have the author himself responding in my thread! All Hail Moongaze! Anyways, I'm not sure if I miss anything, but the quoted link from Elesarr seemed to suggest opening the buttons vertically or horizontally. What I was hoping to see was that say I have button menu 1 on the very top of the sphere, and I would like to move that button around in a circular fashion (basically rotating the buttons around the spheres), I would see an option with a slider (from 0-360) to adjust them. That is, essentially the same as the feature right now where I can press CTRL and click and drag the entire menu and child buttons to another location without deleting them. The other feature I was thinking about was the skins for the spheres, whether it be square, or half circle, etc. Anyways, I'm enjoying LunarSphere so please keep up the great work!

Ummm....why Tenson? could you give a reason since moving stuff around is built in as I and Exuro said in our posts using ctrl and drag.

Ummm....why Tenson? could you give a reason since moving stuff around is built in as I and Exuro said in our posts using ctrl and drag. Ele LoL. Convenience (or rather, my laziness)? I only have 2 active menus right now, so CTRL-Drag won't be a big deal, but if I fill up my sphere, say about half, I'd like to be able to just rotate the spheres w/o having to drag+drop each one of the menu. Well, if it's too much recoding, then forget I mentioned it. I saw it in Necrosis and Cryolysis and thought it was a good idea, that's all. Hmm. What about that skinning feature. Any suggestions?

All the skinning features will be feature intact by the end of stage 4.

For random messages, I use Speakeasy and it's Helper. Works failry well. Though if I can ditch more addons, that would be great. ;D

Tenson... Just curious with the feature that you are requesting.... It's nothing more then a relocation of the buttons around the sphere... Not individually but as a whole, So basically all the buttons would rotate to a certain point... Or did you mean just the ability to move one button to anywhere else on the sphere... I know Cryolysis has that single button feature... But it broke recently and if you moved anything some stuff would disappear or at least it would for me...

*resuscitating yet another thread* I'm getting proficient at it. Will the sphere itself be rotatable at some point (or did I miss an already implemented or planned functionality)? I like the idea of the starting point for gauge filling to be at 12 or 6 o'clock (instead of 3 o'clock as it is atm). Or at half past one, for an irritating look.

I will probably let the user choose which angle the gauges start when full. Just requires some extra rotation code.
I was probably going to add the ability to rotate the the sphere main buttons in the future, but that will have to come after the public release of LS.
