I just discovered LunarSphere today, and have been playing with it. I'm so amazed at how lightweight and stable it seems I've already spread it out to 15 members of my guild and we want to try it tonight for our Gruul's Lair raid!
I'm migrating from Arcanum, as a mage, you know how important quick access to portals, conjures, etc. are. There are two features I really loved in Arcanum that I do not yet see in LunarSphere. One was menus, you can place a button on the sphere, but it's just one button. Is it possible to implement a way to have one button slide out an entire row of buttons for things such as portals and professions or armors?
Please don't stop development. I'm astounded by this mod so far and I love every bit of it!

If I'd just finished reading I would have seen this feature is available!
Any chance that a button menu can update its icon to show the icon of the last used button in the menu?

Gruul huh? Good luck with that. I hear using LunarSphere is like having an "iwin" button on your interface. Gruul looks at the army of people coming and sees that they all are carrying this "sphere" and Gruul freaks out and commits seppuku, granting you easy lewt and phat epix. Seriously though, tell me how it works out for you and your guildies. As for the menu icon updating with the last used submenu action, that will be planned for Stage 4, so no worries about that. ;D Thanks for the input, and glad you're liking what you're seeing

I'm SURE someone has mentioned this 100 times before, but for redundancy sake..
Will it ever show tooltips for the buttons?
Also, LunarSphere worked great. It's completely replacing my entire UI. I don't need Blizzard's toolbars anymore!

I just started using it as well, and am having a lot of fun with it so far.
A couple of suggestions: 1. Do you think you can make the sphere itself programmable to perform an action on button click? On another sphere mod *cough*cryolysis*cough* you were able to assign different actions to the main sphere on left and right clicks. I think if this were implemented, it'd rock my world.
2. The sphere text - is it possible to make it keep track of a certain spell cooldown?
I really appreciate all the work you've put into this so far, Moongaze =)

I admit, this message board has some TINY restrictions to how many posts appear per page. A lot of posts that have this information is on page 2 or 3 of the board, which really sucks. I'll be trying to sticky all the important threads by the end of the day, to ease the searching ... and rename some of them to reflect their contents a little better. I honestly don't mind hearing the same suggestion 2, 3, 10, 29 times. It just goes to show me how BADLY people want that feature. Sure, it could be posted in the same thread that the feature was originally proposed, but I don't mind if it's not. I think that LunarSphere's influence has grown a little farther than I ever anticipated for this message board and the beta, so I just need to sit down and re-organize this message board, to deal with the evolution that I see before me. Thank you for your suggestions, ceil and peeko! I'm working on it

My apologies if this has been suggested already.
Any plan for implementing a right-click-to-cast-on-self feature? Some of the popular action-bar mods offer this option, and it's fairly handy if you want to keep your current target, cast on yourself, and do it all with the same button.
Thanks, and seriously awesome work so far.

Currently, no ... I haven't investigated the target-self idea yet. I might be able to add the ability later on, as a modifier (hold the shift key, for example, and every spell will be targeted on you). I'll be looking into it at a later time, when I get most of the original features implemented

Fair enough. Thanks for the consideration.
