The map for the game would show the original landmasses from the game. Each continent would be divided into a few parts, color coated similar to the original Risk game. The areas of control would *try* to make sense, being that undead might control more land in a certain area, so that section would be green, where neutral people might control a section, and they would be orange. If I can't cut sections out in ways that make sense, I'll just make my own sections and let people battle it out with those. Here is an example of what I have so far (not very touched-up yet, but gets the point across) Zones that have boats that travel to the other continent will have lines drawn indicating that they can also attack the zone that the boat lands in on the other continent. Zepplins will also have their paths marked. Other routes may appear as well, depending on their location and access to resources in that area that makes sense.

The colors on the map will also tie in to the colors that Risk uses. So collecting all of, say, the green territories will yield 7 extra armies per turn, 2 armies for all the purple, etc.
I may have to do away with the red territories and keep the original 6 colors... but we'll see...

on the plus side, at least Risk won't take nearly as long as LS =)

I've been an avid game player since I was at least six years, so gaming is pretty much a part of me. Be it video games, board games, card games ... or whatever else really. If it was for LunarSphere, I probably would have released another 2-3 games by now for WOW. But, no matter how you slice it, a regular addon will always be more popular and better received than a game addon for WOW. People find the concept of playing games WITHIN a game dumb ... but when you think about it, a video game is merely a collection of minigames packaged around a central theme.
World of Warcraft has:
-Whack-a-mole (for healers) -Economic games for the AH -Shooting games (for the bombing runs from TBC) -Capture the Flag and King of the Hill (which are games in themselves, but also dropped into WOW) -Football (sort of, eye of the storm? Touchdown?) -Gambling (crafting an item gives you a chance to level up, so you gamble each time, and if you fail, like gambling, you'll go spend more money to try and "win" and get that skill up) -Jump rope (When a boss is about to pull out a special ability, you get a warning, and you better dodge/run/heal ... "jump")
I'm sure I can come up with more, but that's the idea. Blizzard even stated that they would love to add minigames to WOW, but they would rather focus on the content first before they do that. I doubt they will ever recognize me, but man ... if they paid me money per game that I submitted to them, I would TOTALLY be their dog and do whatever they wanted. Even if it's $200 per game (I would be so ripped off, but it would still be worth it). I've always wanted to work for a game development company, even though the horror stories about Electronics Arts employees freaked me out.
Pipe dreams, I'm sure ... ;D

Only thing i have to add is you have to put a mini game inside it. A game in a game in a game FTW!
