I went to the new LunarSphere website , and I must say it looks way nice. If we're registered on this website, are we automatically registered there? Oh, I looked at the credits and my name was there. You're awesome. ;D

The website forum does not share the same user database as this forum, so you'll need to make a new account on that one. Thanks for the compliments about the site

just registered on the new site, gratz on it Will this site be closed after public release? does seem pointless to keep it running. Also, remove (rather you didn't it - read below) or alter the verification image on the forum registration page. It took me 4 attempts to get it right (needed to hit 'D' but the image looks like 'O') and the audio read out is too difficult to understand even for me. (I can understand the need for it but, one forum I run, has admin approval on as it gets several junk accounts registered almost daily)

I'll echo the rest of my fellow LunarSphere addicts and say "what an incredible website is that!!!1oneone11eleven"
Excellent work, didn't expect anything less from you Moon to be honest. Minimal yet informative, elegant without too many bells and whistles, exactly what I wanted myself from an addon site. The colors you have picked are very pleasing to the eye, the style layout as well, everything is well put and well organized. Not to mention about your unique sense of humor. I lol'ed hard IRL when I read the FAQ section, especially about the Chuck Norris joke generator! ;D
I'm very glad and at the same time proud that I have been a part of this project although I wish I could have contributed more than I have done. I'm also happy that my alias is part of the credits (woot! my 15 minutes of fame)
Keep up the great work Moon!

Woot! Thanks everyone for the responses! This forum will be open, only registered users will be able to post (I'm locking it down so people need to be registered), and the whole purpose is for people to look back and see how this project came to be, as well as remember all the good times (lol) we had. I'll still check this forum every day or two, but not 10-20 times a day like I do now. That will be for the other forum. This will pretty much be an archive. It's part of the default forum software. I've been looking into some other ideas for the verification anyway, and I think the current image stuff is set to "crazy complex" and I'll probably drop it down a notch to make it a little easier. Of course, there are some people who won't see the image (be it they have images turned off for non-trusted sites, or java scripts, or whatever the image verification section uses). I might remove it and add some logic questions, such as "which is a square?" "1+8=?" and others like it in order to throw off bots. I know that image verification doesn't work so well since this forum has it as well and ... bots still post. I don't want lots of bells and whistles. I don't want to look at a dark website (hehe, wowui). I like the color blue ^_^ and the site is fast because it doesn't rely on much in terms of images and lots of database calls to get information. So, yeah. Thanks! The layout is a modified layout from my web hosting provider, but it was the only design scheme I liked. I checked out hundreds of designs and couldn't find anything. Then, I loaded up the default schemes and scrolled down almost to the bottom and BAM! There it was. So, I took it. I wrote that section when I was really tired one night. I seem to write jokes at night and technical drabble during the day. It's nice to hear that people actually think I have a sense of humor though. I try =) Still, you are in the top 30 posters, out of 560, which places you in the top 5% You helped out a lot and influenced some of the changes within LS, so thank you again!

I blush that I did so little but still was included in the credits thanks, Moon! Will you be including the additional skin graphics on your page at some point? I have a host now for my own (blatant misuse of guild website, bwahaha) so I can actually go about putting up the real files rather than making people convert them themselves... Anyway, congratulations on the public release, and thanks for all of your hard work, Moongaze!

I *could* make the additional skin images available on my site if you want. Since I did not create the icons, I can't distribute it whenever I want unless I have the creator's permission. The download section does have an "upload" area for people who want to upload their own stuff. You need to be logged in on the main site (Insert info with the forum account you created on lunaraddons.com, into the log-in box on the main page, bottom left, of the website). Once logged in, you can click the download section and there is a link to upload your files. Sadly, you have to upload your skin files one at a time... or you can upload a zip file that has all the files inside. The upload program only accepts zip, rar, tga, blp, and lua files and all other file types will be denied. Also, all files need to be approved by myself, so once it's uploaded, I hit "accept" whenever I see it, unless it is a zip or rar, in which case I open it up and make sure things are okay. If people want to upload a bunch of artwork at once, the best way to do it is to just throw it all in a zip file and include a text file with every file name in the achieve separated by commas so that the user just needs to copy the images into the import folder, open up the text file and copy the text and inside LS, paste the text into the "import files" text box when you are importing, since it will load each file if they are separated by commas. file1, file2, file3, file4 ... etc Then, you might want to include a website link or a JPG link in the description or website field that links to an image of ALL files included, so people know what they want or will get. I might get around to editing the source code of the document uploader and provide a checkbox on the upload page for "Treat zip files as multiple uploads" which would open the zip file and essentially upload each file separately, but that would take some time that I don't have right now, haha.
