I assigned a macro to the centre sphere, after quite a lot of confusion I gave up having the alt key modify it as the left alt (Alt) worked fine but the right alt (Alt Gr) kept opening up the settings window.
Then today I was in a BG and managed to spin my screen round which should be Alt+Ctrl+ArrowKey but was happening on AltGr+ArrowKey. So I figured I would investigate and discovered that AltGr is being counted as Alt+Ctrl. This means that IsControlKeyDown() function returns true. This seems rather confusing as the main interface (including macros) hide this from the user.
On a similar topic I currently have ctrl as my "focus cast" button. However this doesn't work through LS buttons. I can change it to shift which fixes the problem but it would be nice if the workaround wasn't needed.

I will probably need to do a check when you click a button while holding the CTRL key and see if it is the focus cast key. I think, right now, if you are holding the CTRL key, LS will ignore the click entirely if you are in combat... but I could be wrong. Thanks for this information. I'll see what I can do.

Okay, added support so that the buttons will self-cast and focus-cast based upon the self-cast and focus-cast modifiers you have set within the WOW options. This works for shift, ctrl, and alt. Also, alt will no longer always be self-cast, even if you make your self-cast key be shift. It was hard-coded to be alt, but now it's whatever your actual setting is.
Also, the center sphere can not use the CTRL modifier for the left and right mouse buttons since they are taken up with the settings window showing and the dropdown menu showing feature. Middle click should work, however. But this is only the cast for the sphere itself.
Pet buttons will still use SHIFT for their toggle ability and the target should be ignored if you have shift set as self or focus cast. These fixes will be in the next version of LS.
As for the right alt button issue, I'm not having it on my end. I hold the left alt or the right alt and I can still do the self cast. The same for the focus cast with left and right control ... *shrug* I don't know what's up with that, sadly.

811 is working great, thanks. As for the right alt button issue, I'm not having it on my end. I hold the left alt or the right alt and I can still do the self cast. The same for the focus cast with left and right control ... *shrug* I don't know what's up with that, sadly. I think this might be specific to UK keyboards or maybe European ones. I have spotted one part of the default UI that doesn't work properly, the scrolling through chat history with alt+up/down only works on my left alt. This isn't too major a problem, just means I can't really use alt with the centre sphere but I can cope with that.
