Update: I just realized I keep downloading Stage 2 of this mod. I tried downloading it again, and also tried downloading one of the versions underneath the other link, and it keeps saying I have Stage 2 under addons. I don't know if this is what is causing my button problems or not, but I have no idea how to get version 3...What is the 5 second rule? And, I asked this question somewhere else, but if someone sees this first... I saw a screenshot of people having their buttons floating around the circle, how do you do that? (What I mean by around the circle, is around the 10 slots you have already filled with spells)I see no option anywhere to put your buttons anywhere but the slots in the circle, which is horrible because theres only 10 buttons and I have tons of spells. How do I do this submenu thing? Or, how do I get my spells grouped around the circle of spells? Gah *so confused*. And also, if youre in rested state, the little tab that shows where your rested state ends stays there even if you take off all the original blizzard ui.

okay 5 second rule = how much mana you regenerate per 5 seconds...often taken both in and out of combat as they will be different numbers due to spirit kicking in there is plenty of documentation to tell you how to use lunarsphere...you really should try using your eyes...but holding ctrl while you move the spells from ur spellbook into lunarsphere might work as well the rested state tab is a interesting little quirk that moon will have to address

Okay no I don't think you don't get it. I know how to move spells INTO the 10 slots that the lunarsphere has, but I do not know how to get spells to float AROUND the 10 slots that I have already filled.
I know how to use the lunarsphere, but 10 slots is hardly enough. There was a screenshot I saw where people had used the 10 slots, and had spells grouped around the slots as well.

What new menus? I don't understand you. I also don't understand what you said about the 5 second rule >.> Sorry.
Maybe someone else might be able to explain it in a way that'll penetrate my thick head.
*Sigh*
And I've already messed around with all manner of ctrl click and alt click, on buttons in the spellbook and on the original blizzard interface.
But, the fact that I keep having Stage 2 might be why this isnt working for me...

okay Cleo - 1) welcome to the board 2) glad you like what you are seeing so far 3) take a deep breath and exhale slowly to create a menu that holds the 10 button you are talking about: make sure LunarSphere is not locked - to do this right click the main sphere in the center and ensure "Lock Sphere and Buttons" is not checked - a yellow glow around the main sphere will indicate it is now in edit mode. (see screen shot) open your spell book and pick a spell you want as an icon for that menu or something in your bags whichever you want doesn't matter - after you have picked it up with your mouse press and hold the [Ctrl] key that will show you where you can place it on the sphere like this: drop the icon on any of the empty main circles around the center sphere this will create your menu - you know it is a menu cause it will have a blue circle around it like this: now take your mouse and put it over the menu you just created - press the [Alt] key and hold it while left clicking - this will cause a small window to open like this: that will allow you to set any middle or right click functions you want on that button - drag and drop what you want to use on the middle and right click buttons (if anything) and then press "save". to populate the menu itself pick up the spell from your spell book or whatever it is you want to add to the menu you created and drag it to the sphere. When you do this the menus open automatically and you can see where to drop the icon you have on your mouse like this: repeat these steps to create up to 10 menus with 10 buttons inside them each capable of having a left/middle/right click function if you do not want the menus to auto close make sure that "Auto Close Menus" is not checked like this: After you have finished populating your buttons and menus and have the sphere where you want it make sure to check "lock sphere and buttons" - then close the settings window using the [x] in the corner. the yellow glow will be gone indicating LunarSphere is no longer in edit mode. It is planned in stage 4 (or 5) that there will be 15 buttons in each menu and they will be able to be open or auto closed individually instead of globally like now. the 5 second rule shows your mana regeneration you know the items that say "regenerates 11 mp per 5 sec" or "regenerates 5 mp per 5 sec". here is the link to the download its always the one on the top with the highest version number (in this case: 3004): www.fileden.com/files/2007/4/21/1005347/LunarSphere_3004.zipMoon did not update the last stage number in the TOC file the current version will appear as follows in your addon screen: this is a short tutorial if you read the forum threads Moon has given very clear instructions on how to use the mod...it is still being beta tested - however when the 1.1 Public version is released it will include a complete "how to" manual. Hope this helped ;D Elesarr

... You are being a major jerk to me right now, and I'm not enjoying it.
I understand how to use the keys on a keyboard, but as a SUGGESTION I would enjoy to be able to transfer the buttons for Talent, Character, and Social onto little rounded buttons on the Lunarsphere.
At the moment I decided to leave the menu bar on, but it messes up the lunar sphere theme..

Ahh so what you are looking for is a way to put the menu (IE Social, Talents, etc..) into the sphere... As far as I know that is not yet possible with this mod...

A couple things: 1) Thanks Elesarr for putting together the tutorial. I agree that the Stage 2 Menu Info thread can be a little confusing without pictures. I also know that this forum doesn't have a lot of features documented on stickies ... so I'm going to look around today while at work and restructure some of the stickies and make a "Manual" or "How-To" sub-forum that will contain all documentation so far. 2) Welcome to the boards cleolump. I'm sorry that your first couple posts didn't go well. I've noticed some posts pop up which are quite rude 3) I don't mind if people help, and I don't mind if people speak their opinions, but some stuff could be opted not to be said. I think that a lot of people on the internet are used to one-shotting people because that's what always happens, and we just get used to it, but I would like to keep it civil in here Personally, I would prefer people to say: "Here's a post that details what you're looking for: . If you need help with anything else, try using the search feature on the top of the message board. If that post doesn't help, I'll see what I can do " Most people don't even see the search feature, since it's small and slightly buried. The thread that had the menu information, for example, was on the THIRD page of forum posts. That's quite far into the board, and some people wouldn't think to look that far.
Plus, because this is a message board, not everyone's message and opinion will be fully expressed in one post, because they seriously might use the post to ask a simple question. "Will there be a way to add the character, talent, and spellbook tab to the menu" is a great question, and I will be doing that. But there is no background provided to the question to explain why that feature should be added, so people shouldn't assume that the person can't function without there being a button. The reason why cleolump wants that feature is to keep everything looking the same, and to hide it within a menu button. I think it's a great idea!
4) OMG people, eat some cookies and drink some milk (unless you can't drink milk and hate cookies ... then find something else you like . Let's have fun on the board so everyone can enjoy it
5) I'm an idiot and forgot to change the TOC for Stage 3. Sorry about that confusion =(

Oh, and in response to the 5 Second Rule... it has different meanings for different people. The original meaning (that I know of and use) is that anytime you cast a spell, you have 5 seconds before your regen kicks in for mana. This means that if you're in combat and you're constantly casting instant spells or 2-3 second spells, the entire time you're doing this, you're not getting any mana (unless you have abilities that allow your mana to continue regenerating, even while casting spells).
So, the "5 second rule" gauge/text lets you know when your mana will finally start regenerating, so you can gauge yourself and build up your mana reserves while in combat. By knowing the rule, you can actually keep your mana level fairly high in combat and rarely run out (unless you freak out and continue blasting the mob because they're gonna KILL you).
I use the gauge to know that I'm getting mana. Anytime that gauge is filling up (or the sphere text is counting down), I stop casting spells and just use my wand.
That's pretty much what the setting does for you with this addon.
