Right now, the pet action button type will show and hide based upon whether or not your pet is out. This will happen no matter where the pet action button type is located. So, one could do the following (a really odd hack, but works great none-the-less): 1) Create a menu button 2) Click each of the 12 submenu buttons (or however many you need up to 12) and assign all of the Pet Action Button types that you want. For example, maybe you want attack, follow, and stay on one button (clicks left, right, middle, respectively), the next 4 buttons to be the actual pet skills (typically pet action button 4, 5, 6, and 7) as left click. Then, the 6th button to be aggressive, defensive, passive (again, left, right, middle clicks). Now you have 6 more buttons to use in this menu. Assign any spells from your spell book, any items, any macros to the left clicks (and maybe right clicks as well) for each of these buttons. 3) Here is the important part. On buttons 7-12, with your custom actions you want to also appear with the pet bar, make your middle (or one of your unassigned click actions) a Pet Action Button type, maybe action button 1 (attack). By dropping at least one Pet Action Button type on these buttons, it will make the button appear and disappear with the pet. Yes, your tooltip will have one extra line that says "middle click- attack" ... but it will be worth it to get this trick to work. Hopefully that will help you out

that makes PERFECT sense now.
And asnwers both questions that I was having reguarding pet menu!
IE- how to make a pet menu to start with ( just make one of the buttons a pet skill ), and how to add another skill / macro etc and have that menu still function as a pet menu =)
THANK YOU! !

I'm sure you know this, but just to make sure other people who read this don't know: The pet skills can't be dragged to the LunarSphere buttons, you'll need to have the sphere in "Edit Button" mode and click a button to bring up the Button Settings window for it. Then, from there, you can use the dropdown menu next to the left, middle, and right click actions to select a Pet Action Button type and assign it.
