I may have missed it in my initial read through of the various threads on the forums, but is there a way to make my total number of soul shards appear in the center of the sphere like ammo count or total health will.
I read through the tutorial and all that stuff and could have just over looked it so if I did I apologize if it there and I missed it.
If there is no current way to do so with the menu's available could you possibly include it in a future build of the MOD.
Or if you want could you give me some hints on what to edit in code to include it for myself.
Thank you for your time.

Hey there! To do what you want, here's the steps you'll need to do:
1) Turn on Edit Button mode 2) Click the sphere itself 3) Drag a Soul Shard to the left click action (or the middle, or the right) 4) Near the bottom of this screen, make sure that "Show count" is checked for the left click button (or the middle, or the right, whichever you assigned it to). 5) Save the button. 6) Open the LunarSphere Settings window (ctrl-right click the sphere) 7) In the "Sphere" tab, on the Sphere Text dropdown, find "Sphere button count" (I think that is what it's called? I'm not at home right now so I don't know).
That should show the count on the main sphere. I hope that helps you out =)
In the future, I will have a sphere text event called "Show item count" and "Show cooldown" which will let you drag items and spells to an assignment box in the settings screen, letting you see that data without using up one of your click actions on the sphere =)

thank you very much for your prompt reply and your hard work on this module.
This is by far the best sphere mod that exists in the gaming world.
I am no coder by any means, my skills lay in the network area of computing science but I am in the beginning stages of teaching myself to program and I love looking at the code for this mod. I only understand about 4% of it but it is a nice challenge to try and figure out what each function in the .lua files is there for.
I will try to do what you said and see if it works. If not I will just wait for your update. I am patient and do not mind waiting for something that give the options that this mod does
thanks again

i can get an the eenter of the sphere to show up looking like a soul shard but it does not show a number with those instructions.
i tried all three mouse buttons. Maybe i am just missing something?

My instructions shouldn't have changed your icon for the sphere, just the count. O.o When you go into Edit Button mode and click the sphere, you have two "sections" available. One if for action assignments (with the left, middle, and right mouse buttons and the drop down and keybind buttons that go with it). Then, you have the bottom section that is in a gray border. This section lets you set the icon, the count, and the cooldown to be shown. You might have selected the option for the "icon" to be shown. So, set it up something like this: [X] [L] [M] [R] Show Icon [x] [ ] [ ] [ ] Show Count [ ] [x] [ ] [ ] Show Cooldown [x] [ ] [ ] [ ] With the "Show Count" section, it will be marked with the left mouse button, whereas the other sections are marked as "none" or that circle with a line through it. Save the button to save these changes. Next, CTRL-right click the sphere to bring up the LunarSphere Settings window. Click the "Sphere" tab on the top-left to make sure you're looking at the sphere tab. On the top of that section, there is "Sphere Text Event" section with a dropdown menu. Clicking the dropdown, you should find a bunch of options, but at the bottom there will be "Sphere button count". Select that. After you select that dropdown item, the sphere should start showing a count for your items. The icon can be set to be shown by also setting it to "Show Icon" of the left click action and in the "Skin" tab, there is an option for "Use sphere click icon" which will show the icon. It sounds like you already have that turned on =)

So far so good. I've been an avid fan of another "warlock" radial menu system for a while now and since they can't keep up with Blizzard, I thought I new mod was in order. I have LS pretty much setup in a similar fashion as I had other mods. I like it a lot. Very simply yet very powerful. However, I can't seem to get this to work either. Something I found interesting. Following the above instructions but using say, Netherweave in place of Soul Shards, the count shows up in the sphere. This is true for stacks of food and drinks. I tried several other "stacked" items as well with the same results. For some reason, Soul Shards are not adding the count number.

Or really? Whoops! I'll actually drop a soul shard onto the sphere and see what's up. That's odd ... heh, sorry! I was testing with water as well... I'll get this fixed for the next version. I'll be back at my computer in a little while, but until then, does dragging a soul shard onto a normal button work for showing the count?

Thank you very much again for your prompt replies to this issue and your speedy acknowledgment of this problem. You are at a level above most of the mod coders that exist for this game.
It is a wonderful mod with a diverse level of custom options and I am more than willing to wait for you to get it just right.
