LOVE YOUR MOD....THANK YOU!!!
When I log in all of my buttons around the sphere are gone and the sphere is out of position.
Any way to get my settings back or do I have to redo the layout.
Just want to make sure I'm not missing something since I have 9 characters using this wonderful mod.
Let me know...thx again!!

It sounds like you might have had a spell assigned to one of your buttons that you happened to unlearn due to talents being reset. I isolated one error that came from this and have been able to fix it. Sooo... here's something you can try:
1) Open the modulesButton.lua file in your Lib folder of LunarSphere
2) Do a search for this line of text in a text editor such as Notepad. Don't use Microsoft word or anything else. Notepad is best for this.
"spellLink = GetSpellInfo(self.actionName)" (without the quotes)
Change that line to:
spellLink = GetSpellInfo(self.actionName) or "";
3) Save the file and reload your UI or log back into WOW. This should fix some issues that happened due to spells no longer being in your spell book.

No, you don't have to. Have to tried the remedy in the post above yours where you need to edit a LS file? If you have tried that and it still does it, let me know...

I went to bed last night without implementing your workaround to see if it helped. I can try it tonight if you still need me to

I've searched for this, and didn't see anyone report it yet. When I moved my LS, only the center sphere moved. It left all the outside buttons behind. Any ideas?

Below is the error that pops up when I first log in. However, the only button I can modify is the main sphere button. There are zero buttons around it. I've checked in the menu and it says "10 buttons" and Edit buttons is checked and all... yet not buttons are showing.
I also get the error below it when attempting to click "Edit Buttons" in the main menu.

Well, I got my buttons to show up. I had to go into the "Debug" part of the menu and reset all button data... so if anyone else has that problem, go do that! =)

Firstly, let me say that I love LunarSphere... I can't run my warlock without it. Unfortunately, I'm having to try, however. I downloaded the stage 8 beta...
1) The LunarSphereExporter keeps showing up as "out of date". 2) WOW told me my addon was generating too many errors, so I disabled it. Deleted all and tried again, no luck. 3) The buttons didn't show up. 4) Is there a way to preserve your settings? I had to reprogram my LS last time I updated; I really hope to avoid that, if possible. I thought I had even saved them off somewhere, but I couldn't find those settings, only the "Necrosis" warlock settings. <?>
Thanks!

I will be posting a new version (801) when I get back from school, which will be about 4 hours from this post, give or take an hour. It will have the fixes implemented from the workarounds I have included in the "Stage 8: Workaround Solutions" thread. While one can delete their button setup and just start fresh, I want to avoid that because some setups can take a while to make and I don't want you to go through that trouble =)
I will say that if you had ANY TALENT SPELL on any of your buttons or the main sphere, due to the 3.0 patch resetting your talents, you will need to acquire that spell again and then reload the UI to fix one of the issues that people are having (buttons breaking, sphere being the only thing moving). If you don't have access to that spell anymore (such as the priests and their racials, for example), you can't use that in-game fix and need to do the workaround that I posted in the "Stage 8: Workaround Solutions" thread, issue #2.
If you don't feel comfortable editing a LUA file, just hold tight until a few hours from now and I'll hook people up with the fix automatically =)

First i'd like to say Moon, this is by far the most awesome add on and most important for me, keep up the good work.
That said, I get an error when i try to assign one of the buttons to "last used submenu acion"

I did the quick fix you've already provided now the error has moved to 989 which according to Eddie (for edition luas on Macs) that's an empty line. Any clue what I do have to fix? please please please... I totally addicted to LS here's the exact error message I get: interface\addons\lunarsphere\lib\modulebutton.lua:989: attempt to index local 'button' (a nil value)

As an update, I did the workaround fix suggested (Re: Stage 8: Workaround Solutions « Reply #2 Yesterday at 11:06pm ») and that resolved the issue of my buttons not appearing. Some of my menus are set to only open in combat, which they do, but right clicking on them doesn't seem to open them. I believe I saw that was a known issue, so I'll await an update. I do still have the LunarSphereExporter still showing up as an "out of date" addon. I have not had a chance to play long enough to see if any errors are reported by the add-on in game. I'll try it out more tonight. Again, thanks for the great add-on. -- FearMonger

I seem to have a problem scaling my buttons. As of now, the menu buttons ara a bit smaller than my submenu buttons and changing scale do not seem to have any effect. I guess my submenu buttons has gotten a wee bit bigger, since they overlap each other. Other than that, with the workaround, it seems to work quit nicely
