So, I'm sure many people have seen this scenario: A gold selling bot appears out of nowhere, like a crazy stealthed rogue, next to a mailbox in a major city. It sits there and jumps every 10-20 seconds, and spams the SAY channel every 5-10 seconds with more advertising about gold sellers. Since they are your own faction, you can't attack them. You can't mind control them (oh GOD I wish I could drop 'em off a building...), and you can't really do much other than right-click their name and "Report Spam" them. Problem is, they are still there ... and they stay there for 10-30 minutes, until they log out from a GM intervention, or the bot just gets bored and auto-logs. Who knows. So, I needed a way to get rid of them. Here's the suggestion I posted on the WOW message boards. It will never happen, but I sure wish it would: forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=112504796&postId=1124450045&sid=1#0Basically, give Cookers a new reason to live. Make them even more useful than they currently are! Let their d**n "Camping Fire" actually cause damage like EVERY OTHER FIRE out there. It can keep the buff. I like the buff, it's a nice little shot before a battle. But PLEASE dear GOD let it do damage. Then, I can literally light a fire under that bots ass and have it DIE. It can't say anything when it's dead, and the person would actually need to run back to their corpse, rez ... and then we'd do it again. Granted, they would be able to move away from the fire, but that would require looking at the screen, something these bots don't do.

love it Moon..who knows maybe Blizz will listen, your idea certainly supports their position that we need to police our own realms since they cannot be everywhere! Ele

I want the ability (with a 24 hour cooldown) to be able to "turn" on my alliance. It would flag me for PVP for 10 minutes and allow me to attack my own faction (both players and NPCs). It would be more realistic, especially for RP servers. I know there is a quest "reward" debuff that makes it so you can attack your factions NPCs and they KOS you, but I don't think it works on players =(

I wanna respond to that thread too ... but I've never actually done an upgrade quest before, and actually know very little about the other classes (I'm such a noob, lol)

there arnt any upgrade quests, an example, the priest epic staff Benediction/Anathema (Healer/Damage theres a use ability to turn it into one or the other 30min CD) and upgrade quest via my proposal would see it upgraded to a lvl 70 epic and purified to either pure holy or pure shadow.

Honestly one of the better Idea's I've seen on how to deal with gold spammers. I use a spam program that blocks text from anyone lvl 2 or lower. What I wouldn't give to be able to use all my clickies/preps and buffs and launch a pyroblast at one of those idiots. Hell, I would even drop a level to 69 just for the pleasure!!
