I'm starting out here with lunarsphere. I see some threads about layouts/templates. I dont see any packaged with lunarsphere. I DO see a thread with different LUA files all in class folders. I just dont understand how to use these files. Will I be able to enable them from within lunarsphere? Or am i missing something.

no there are not any specific templates default with LS and those files are just temporary with lvl 70 characters.

I will have official templates built into LunarSphere in the next couple versions. They are the last things to do before the LunarSphere project is finished and ready for public release. Just gotta make your own setup for right now, or wait a couple weeks for the finished project

Thanks. I'll probaly wait :-). LS does look awesome. I was using Holy HArd(something like that), Serenity, and cyrosylis. One addon with different templates is such a better idea. :-) Is there a current way for you to import other people templates besides the entire LUA method?

If someone made a template the normal way and exported it, you can take their "LunarSphereExporter.lua" saved variables file and copy it to your LunarSphere addon folder. Then, you can hit "import" from the Template tab and it will import the templates. The other method that is mentioned in here requires exchanging all of your LunarSphere saved variables with their copy, which is a little bit more work and clears your original settings and replaces it with theirs. Also, since LunarSphere is set up similar to an action bar for the action assignments, just turning on "Edit Button" mode and dragging and dropping spells onto the buttons themselves is pretty quick and you can probably get a setup done in 2 minutes. The thing that takes longer is using the Button Settings window for the advanced features, like "Use strongest water" or other types like that. The middle and right clicks can also be assigned with the drag and drop idea do you don't even need to see the Button Settings window. To assign to the middle and right mouse button, just drag a spell or item until it is attached to your mouse cursor. Release the mouse button (the icon will stay) and just left, middle, or right click a LS button while in "Edit Button" mode and it will assign the action to the specific mouse click. You can also turn one of the 10 main buttons into a menu button without the need to use the Button Settings window by just holding CTRL and left-clicking the button while you have an icon attached to the mouse cursor. The menu will use whatever icon is attached as the menu icon and will spawn the 12 new buttons. There are a lot of shortcuts in this addon that aren't very well documented Then again, very soon, we'll have templates so it will be all good

Louis -- I would not wait. Copying other people's templates is great -- BUT -- there is a lot of little things that LS does that isn't very obvious, and making LS your own and finding out little gems that things like Serenity never had can make your UI and your set up both personalized and pretty special. For instance -- I have a few custom speeches that show up when I cast levitation or summon a non-combat pet. Very frivolous, but oh so different
