I'm still fairly new to wow and even newer to using addons. I just downloaded and installed LS today and so far it looks great, but I can't get the menus to auto hide. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, I'm still waiding through the manual thread to try to figure everything out.
Any sugestions on where to look or what to do would be helpfull.

There should be a check box in the sphere setting that says auto-close menus, as a matter of fact its right at the bottom.

Yeah, the manual thread is in no way comprehensive and is very outdated (something that will be addressed when my real website is finished). As Methuseal stated, it's in the LunarSphere settings window, under the "Sphere" tab. To access this window, hold CTRL and right-click the sphere (or hold CTRL and left-click the sphere to bring up a drop-down menu, and select the "Settings" option to bring it up). Before the public release of LunarSphere, this option will be moved to the Buttons tab most likely, and it might actually appear per-button instead of a global option. Time will tell. Either way, glad you're liking LS so far Any other questions, feel free to ask. Welcome to the boards!

Hello! First, favoritest addon ever. I did come across a compatibility issue with an addon I use called "Cartographer", however. In LunarSphere's configuration, "Other" section, if you enable the "Add to Minimap - Coordinates" checkbox, Cartographer will 'snap' back to the current zone you are in whenever you try to zoom out and click on other zones. I guess this could equally be a Cartographer compatibility issue!

Unfortunatly, I had already found and tryed the Auto hide button that you have mentioned. It didn't and still isn't working, the menus simply wount auto hide...
I don't have cartographer, but I have just tryed uninstaling all of my addons and reinstalling LS by it's self, just incase this is due to a compatability issue, I still can't get the menus to hide.

Actually I noticed that with Cartographer myself and just figured it was a Cart issue. But yeah it always snap you back to your current zone if you zoom out to much on the map.

My main is a warlock, which is what drew me to LS, which I love. I just started a warlock on a new server and noticed a problem. I created an open menu to contain all my pet action buttons and summoning pets. All set up, clean and pretty looking but when I actually try using the pet action buttons to either have my pet use a spell, attack or even just change stance from passive to defensive, etc. none of them work. Did the latest patch break the pet bar functions as well?

@bellasirena: I wasn't able to replicate your issue with the current version of LunarSphere. I loaded up my Warlock with a fresh LunarSphere, created a menu and assigned the Pet Action Button 1-10 to the buttons and saved them and they work. Just to be sure, you have version 707 of LunarSphere, correct? gothicrose: The auto-hide has a 3 second time and works by closing the submenu group of buttons that spawn out from the menu button. Just want to make sure we're on the same page, so I'll explain just in case. There are 10 main buttons around the sphere, and each of these can be menu buttons. If they are a menu button, 12 more buttons appear next to them. These are the submenu buttons. If you have "Auto-Close Menus" turned on, the submenu buttons will disappear after 3 seconds of the mouse leaving them (not the menu button itself). If you click a menu button, 12 buttons will appear and, while your mouse is hovering over the menu button or the submenu buttons that appeared, the menu will stay open. When your mouse finally leaves those buttons, after 3 seconds have passed, the submenu buttons will disappear. This is how it should normally work. However, due to the "show/hide on combat start/end" settings that each of the 10 main buttons can have, this feature can be have unexpected results. If you set a menu button up to "show submenu buttons on combat start" or "show submenu buttons on combat end," the submenu buttons will appear and will not automatically hide after 3 seconds, since the menu button wasn't clicked to initiate this "opening" of the menu. If either of those options are turned on, this could be affecting your menu button from operating properly. You can turn on button edit mode and click the menu button to look at it's Button Settings window and check the show/hide in and out of combat settings near the bottom. Also, if you have stance support turned on for a menu button, the auto-close menu support will not function properly when you switch forms due to it auto-opening (kind of a side-effect of stance changing with secure action buttons). Since it opened by itself (without a mouse click), the auto-close feature won't be recognized and it will stay open. It pretty much requires a menu to be opened with a mouse click If any of that seems to be the problem, hopefully I helped to fix it by explaining what works and doesn't work. If none of that is the issue, well ... I guess we'll have to pursue it from there and I'll ask some more questions tamraine and zenithan: Thanks. I do believe it is a compatibility issue. When LunarSphere sees a certain message (such as changing a zone), it will auto-set the zone you are in again so that the coordinates are proper, otherwise you'll have "0,0" as your coordinates. However, clicking on the map to zoom out and look at stuff will cause this event to fire. I will download Cart and see if I can make them play nice together.

About Cartographer: Since I never noticed it since I never use a map addon (shocking, I know), Cartographer and possibly other map addons use or rely on some map code that LunarSphere uses for its coordinates. In regards to Cartographer, any time you click on ANOTHER zone to view the map, it would set your "current zone" to that zone, so you can view the map. Doing this, however, will set your player coordinates to (0,0) since you don't exist in the zone you're looking at. LunarSphere has a safeguard in place where is the coordinates are (0,0), it will reset the map to be your current zone (unless you're in an instance) because zone changing sometimes doesn't update your map unless you actually view the map. Doing this, of course, will have map addons like Cartographer show your current zone on the map, again, even though you wanted to see something else. This is a pain for people, soooo ... I addressed the issue and it will now only set the map when you zone to a new area, instead of if your coords are (0,0). This only happens when the coord display is turned on in the "Others" tab of LunarSphere for the minimap. Pros of this code change: - Map addons will play nice with LunarSphere - The coordinates are a little more accurate Cons of this: - If your map is open to another zone and you move to another zone, your map will reset. Oh well At least you can zoom in and out again Version 708 will have these changes in place to make life easier.

Thanks Moon, it was more a minor annoyance thing for me, was actually wondering what caused it until I saw the note up there and tried it out myself.

Sorry for the long delay. Between taking care of a friend for a few days who had all four of their wisdom teeth pulled, finals, crazy job searching, and other fun stuff that no one cares about ... I am finally releasing version 708. This version fixes some bugs and changes a few things. Nothing really big right now, but I didn't want people to wait any longer. As usual, please check the Stage 7 Changelog thread for details of what I added/changed/fixed. Thanks again!

What a pity you "fixed" the tooltips I was so glad to finally have something that placed all tooltips where I wanted them. For me this mistake of yours was a definite feature and not a bug. Being back to where some tooltips display where I expect them, others however display on top/below/left/right of the mouse or somewhere else was disappointing

I'll add the feature to hi-jack most of the tooltips again in the next version. I honestly wanted to get it back to the way it should have been first to make sure there were no issues, and then add the other feature as a bonus. No worries, it will be coming back

I use an addon that keeps the tooptips at the mouse. I don't know why on earth Blizzard put the tooltips in the bottom-right corner to begin with.

One bug that I've noticed is that the "Use strongest Healthstone" and "Use weakest Healthstone" seem to be reversed.

I noticed that too, and then they worked again *shrug* I'm looking into what might be the cause right now.
