I didn't really know where to post the mage template I came up with, so I figured I would start a template thread. This is where people can post their templates and other people can post comments on them, to get the best possible ones before sending the final code to Moongaze.

This is the first stages of the mage template I am making. I put a picture of Cryolisis next to it because I modeled it off of that for a more seamless transition for most mages. I made it have one mana gauge to match Cryolisis, and added the mage center sphere icon. The reagent restock restocks one stack of rune of portals, rune of teleportation, and arcane powder. All the menu's are left click: use last submenu button, right click: open menu (except the mana gem menu). I think people will like it that way best. The center sphere clicks are left click, use trinket slot #1, right click, use trinket slot #2. Other then the special menu's, all the rest of the mage spells goes into one of three menus, arcane, fire, and frost. The arcane menu is missing Presence of Mind, Arcane Power, and Slow. The fire menu is missing Pyroblast, Blastwave, Combustion, and Dragon's Breadth. The frost tree is complete. The man gem menu is left click use, right click conjur. The parent menu button is left click, use best mana gem, right click, open menu. This will be ideal so the best mana gem will auto update. I separated the buffs and shields menu into two different ones for now. I might combine them if I put the conjur food and water buttons with their use counterparts. The top button is left click, use strongest drink, middle click, summon table of refreshment, and right click, use strongest food. This way if they have mana biscuits, all they have to do is left click. If they have normal conjured food and water, they just have to left/right click very quickly on one button. Cryolysis had just evocation on a button for some reason. So i did the same and put invisibility on the right click just because. The portal menu is left click teleport, right click portal. I added the hearthstone to that because that is a type of teleport. I think I will add the Blessid Medallion of Karabor as well, and it just won't show up if the person doesn't have it. These spells will have to be changed to the Horde cities on a Horde character. The mount menu is left click, use best flying mount, right click, use best ground mount. I put flying mount on left click because I think people use that more. I considered just having it be use best mount, but some people use their ground mounts in outlands if they don't have the epic flying skill. Feel free to post comments and suggestions.

I want to make one of the menu's be the profession menu. I would make it auto collapse so anything the mage doesn't have won't show up. Examples of some buttons: (LC=left click and so on) LC enchanting, RC disenchane LC jewelcrafting, RC prospecting LC cooking, RC campfire LC fish, RC apply fishing lure The rest of the professions would all just be single left clicks.
Obviously I can't get the button clicks for all these, have any ideas?

If you want to make a professions group, just let me know and I'll grab the data I need. I just need to know what goes in the left click, and what goes in the right click slots

I was under the impression that if a person does not have a certain spell or skill that was on the LS bar, it would not show up. This is not the case, it just darkens and you can't click on it. Is there any way to make it so they don't show up, or maybe just edit the "collapse submenu buttons" to collapse on top of those?

Taken from the LS Stage breakdown:
"Template Tab: There will be an option for wiping all submenu buttons clean (deleting them). Template Tab: There will be an option for wiping all buttons clean (deleting them). Template Tab: There will be an option for wiping all actions and settings from the sphere (resetting it to default) Template Tab: There will be an option for restoring all of LunarSphere to default configuration (wiping all buttons, events, etc). Speech scripts will NOT be touched. Only sphere settings."
I'm guessing this means you will be moving the two wipe buttons from the debug tab to the templates tab. Is there going to be a debug tab in the public release?
Anyway, I had an idea of what could maybe simplify this. Have one button in the template tab. When you click it, a dialog box comes up, similar to the one that shows up when you load and save templates. In it will be a couple check boxes, for example, submenu buttons, all buttons, sphere settings, and then default. There will have to be some kind of a checking system, so if you check default, the other options become grayed out and so fourth. There can also be a text note that says how doing this will reload your ui and how this won't effect speech scripts. Then at the bottom there can be an apply and cancel button. Just an idea, thought it could save some space and was pretty simple.
On a side note, the mage template I did is basically done, should I wait to see what new skinning options you will be adding or just submit it now?
I know your busy, but any information on the upcoming release would be awesome. Thanks.

If you want to make a professions group, just let me know and I'll grab the data I need. I just need to know what goes in the left click, and what goes in the right click slots I'm all for this. I always have a menu set to professions alone and this would just make it easier instead of having to set it up for each character.

If you lose a spell or ability or item that you used to have on your sphere, it will be grayed out. This is intentional. However, if you load a template, spells and abilities that you don't have will be skipped. I can look into having buttons that don't have anything assigned to them disappear via the collapse idea, but that will take some time... Maybe. I haven't really decided yet, to be honest. I was thinking of a button that brings up a window similar to what you suggested and having that in the template section. I was also thinking of putting this button in the memory tab instead. *shrug* As for the debug tab, it will exist with the public release, but it will have some other options in there. Mainly stuff to help me out when people want to report bugs or some other stuff. I don't really know what else will go there. If I can't figure out more than one or two features to go in there, I will just remove the tab for now. I'm sure it will have a purpose in the future... maybe just for beta testing new versions, since I'll need a place to put certain settings. The public releases might not have it though, only beta. We'll see You can submit it now if you like. Nothing I do to the skinning tab will have any affect on your template All I really want is the sphere event settings, gauge settings, and button layout. Honestly, the button layout is REALLY all that I need. Any changes that happen between now and the public release will just have me changing the template a little, but it won't affect the button settings, which is the thing that I need the most
