LunarSphere ... that's what I'm calling it.
LunarSphere will be an all-classes type mod that brings a sphere onto the screen that is very customizable to suit the user's needs. Unlike most sphere mods, there will be no pre-set spell choices or menus for you to use. Instead, you create your own menus and spell/item/macro buttons with a simple drag-and-drop idea. This allows for a mod that is tailored to meet each individual player's and class type's need.
The sphere itself with show up to three events on it. These consist of player health, mana, potion count, reagent count, experience, reputation, and more. Two of these three events will be displayed via a circular gauge that wraps around the sphere (similar to the bar that wraps around mods such as Serenity, Necrosis, Vendetta, etc), and the third event will be a text-only detail placed on the sphere itself.
The idea is to create many pre-defined "actions" that a button can do (such as, display a menu, cast a spell, use an item, track an item, use a macro, use a drink from inventory, use food from inventory, and many others) that will take care of most things for the user. Some actions, such as "cast a spell" will require the user to drag-and-drop the spell onto the button for it to recognize it and save it. Others, such as the drink, food, or mount buttons, will automatically find and attach the appropriate item to the button. These and more will be defined in the custom settings of each button.
To make setup VERY fast for the average user, there will be a drag-and-drop mode for the sphere that can be turned on. If enabled, any spell dropped onto the main sphere will bring up a prompt to make it a menu button (basically, use the art of that spell as the menu icon) or an action button. If it's an action button, you're done and the button will work as intended when the user clicks it. If it's a menu button, it will create a menu button that will now accept drag-and-drop objects.
If the player drags a spell or item onto the menu button, it will be dumped into the menu pop-up for the menu. Similar in look to the "Buff" and "Spell" buttons found in Serenity, but you can put whatever you want in them, up to a as-of-yet undecided number.
That's the basis of the mod, with more ideas to come.
There will also be options for restocking of reagents, auto-selling or repairing of items, adding randomized speech that is displayed in Say, Party, and/or Raid on a per-button basis (with the ability to add your own sayings, in-game) and more.
