On the menu buttons, I see an option in the settings to "Auto-Hide" but I'm not sure if that's the requested feature or not. I too would love to see the menu buttons expand on mouseover and then auto-hide once the button has been clicked and/or the mouse has been moved off of the menu.

thats how they work, they will expand on mouse over and auto hide when mouse leaves.

Isn't working that way for me. I have to click on the button to open the menu and click on it again to make it disappear even though I have the Auto-hide setting enabled.

Auto-hide has a 3 second timer and requires the mouse to not be hovering over any part of the menu you want to close. Does it not close the menu, even after moving the mouse away from the buttons and waiting for 3 seconds?
I remember there being an issue with stance support, but then again, a lot of things changed when I added the open and close in and out of combat stuff. I'll be changing that code soon and it should hopefully fix some of the issues people are having.

Uncheck the "edit mode" button in either the sphere settings window or on the dropdown when you ctrl left click the sphere.

=) No worries. Glad you're liking what you see. I still have more to add, obviously, and there are some bothersome issues right now with the button cooldowns, but I am quite proud of the progress I made and the help all my testers have put forth to make LS what it is today, even if it isn't finished yet. This project started in April, so it's been in the making for almost 6 months. It's been in private testing for almost 5 of those months, hehe.
Welcome to the boards! Don't forget to register your name so you can get onto the credits section of LS. You don't need to provide a valid email to make an account. It's active as soon as you make your name, no validation needed.

Does it not close the menu, even after moving the mouse away from the buttons and waiting for 3 seconds? Ah, didn't notice there was a 3 second delay. Yes, that part is working OK. I still need to click it to open the menu, but it does disappear after 3 seconds if I'm not hovering over any part of the menu. I'm guessing the menu open on mouseover hasn't been implemented yet?

I'll get that in soon. The cooldown issue is driving me nuts and I want to take care of it before I continue. Plus, I need to fix some lag issues when it comes to the show and hide, in and out of combat issue. I'm thinking of adding three more features to the 10 main buttons that will let you set each button to do even more stuff: Menus: ( ) Auto-hide Delay [ 2 ] ( ) Auto-open Delay [ 2 ] ( ) Always open Moving the auto-hide out of the sphere options and onto the button itself, also with the ability to set the time. 0 seconds, 1, 2, 3 ... 5, whatever, as long as it is in seconds. Negative numbers will convert to 0 and decimals will round down. More control for the user. The "Always open" idea is pretty much what you would expect. The menu is always open, and never closes. I will be renaming the "Always show in combat" and other "in and out" of combat options and removing the "Always" part. Basically, it will open or close a menu for you when combat starts or ends, but it will not prevent the menu from closing or opening during that time. Of course, the "auto-hide," "auto-show," and "always show" stuff will also take effect. So, it will be interesting. I'm going to paste this information in the status report thread right now as well

I'm trying this out on a macbook; I can get the middle button (wheel) to properly cast a spell. I can only get the right button to do the "Open Menu" action, where I have been able to then set up a spell on the first menu button slot.
What I was originally trying to do was have a button with one action on left click and different action on right. But, the way it is will certainly work. Great work, thanks.

Are you assigning actions with the button settings window? Or are you just dragging spells to the button and assigning the spell via clicking the button with a spell attached?
I haven't tried to find out what happens with the right mouse button on a mac, since they typically only have one button. The right mouse button might be simulating the mac "right click" by automatically holding option (I think that's what it is) and left clicking, when you actually right click. Blizzard might not consider the right click in that condition to be a real "right click," I'm not sure. I would have thought that Blizzard would have assigned that as "button 2" or "right click" in the UI ...

hey moongaze, I was wondering if I could get some realtime help with LS. do you run YIM, AIM, or MSNIM? I don't really know where to put this at, but I've a few questions to ask and real time help is alot easier to understand.

I saw the Sphere ripoff by WOWAce....your's is still better.
I've been setting it up on my Mac, and now I have a question. After I've detached the button menus from the sphere and placed them where I want them, when I control click the sphere, on the drop down menu, if I unckeck "Move Detached Buttons" will this anchor the buttons where I placed them, or move them back to the sphere?

It will anchor them where you placed them.
If you want them to be attached to the sphere again, you'll have to open the button edit menu and uncheck "detach from sphere". The position of the detached button will be saved (in the char's layout-cache.txt) even when you do this.

My main is a SP and I was wondering if there is a way that I can make a pop-up menu on the left that comes up while in Shadowform and uses say for instance spells 1-7 but while out of form there would be a pop-up menu on the right and I would still be able to use 1-7 for those spells but they would only cast while out of form?
I tried for about 2 hours messing with the "Use stances" checked and/or unchecked but I couldn't seem to get anywhere with it.
