The menu buttons have been added to the beta files. Simply download the LunarSphere.zip file (or LunarSphere_2002.zip file) found in the "Lunar Sphere Beta: Stage 2 is Live!" thread and have at it. The name of LunarSphere on the addons screen of your character login screen will be: LunarSphere v.202 (Stage 2)
I have decided against rampant pop-up windows whenever you assign an action on one of the 10 main buttons. I like the automated feel that I got going, and don't want to really slow people down. With that said, this is how the 10 buttons around the sphere work:
"Drag-and-Drop" or "Click-to-Pickup, Click-to-drop" a spell, item, or macro. This will show your hidden buttons. You will now have two options:
Assign the action
Simply finish the drag or click-and-drop the object on your cursor on the button, and it will be assigned that action.
** OR **
Convert the button to a menu button
Hold CTRL and finish the drag or click-and-drop the object onto your button.
A menu button will be created with the artwork from whatever you dragged onto the button. If you want a different image, simply hold CTRL and drag something else onto that button. Also note the menu button border. It is now blue, to help you figure out what buttons are menu buttons, and what buttons are just action buttons.
A menu button starts off with an empty set of 10 buttons. They won't show, even if you click the menu button, because there's nothing to see! So, how do you assign actions to those new buttons? Simple. Pick up another spell, item, or macro. Not only will the buttons around the sphere appear which are empty, but the entire button row of the menu will appear as well. Drag-and-drop or click-and-drop your new action. Simple as that.
After assigning the new action, your child buttons of the menu will hide again, including your new button you just dropped. That's because your menu button is currently set to "Hide" mode. Click the menu button, and it will show its contents.
Deleting an action from a child button of the menu button is the same as before. Make sure the menu button is in show mode (so you can see your established buttons) and move your mouse over the button you wish to delete. Hold CTRL and RIGHT-CLICK the button. Poof, it's gone.
You also delete a menu button in the same mannor. However, please note: deleting or assigning a new action on top of the menu button will overwrite the menu functionality of the button and your menu will be deleted. So, be careful or else you'll have to make that menu again I'll probably add a "Are you sure you want to delete this menu button?" window in the future, but for now, it's all you.
That's it! Have fun and let me know of any issues that appear in the "errors" thread.
