Figured it was about time to create a running thread with useful information for Lunar Sphere users. Please use this thread only to post tips and tricks. If you have questions, please post on another thread or create an appropriate thread.
Here are a couple of tips/tricks I've come up with so far.
Restock Water - Drag the most updated water for your level into the reagent buying dialog box. This way, whenever you go to a vendor that sells water, you will pick up more water. Same can be done for food to restore health.
Restock Pet Food - Same as restock water, but specify the type of food for your pet.
Dynamic Trinkets - Create two macros with the followign code:
#showtooltip /use 13 and
#showtooltip /use 14 drag each to Lunar sphere. When pressing each one, it will activate the click event on the appropriate trinket. This will also display the cool-down of each trinket

if ur a priest with Inner focus heres a nice little macro u can use
#showtooltip Greater Heal(Rank 7) /use Blessed Prayer Beads /stopcasting /cast Inner Focus /stopcasting /cast Greater Heal(Rank 7)
this will use ur trinket (the I use is the Blessed Prayer Beads, still very useful even at 70) Cast Inner Focus and then cast Greater Heal so it give u a free cast and beefs up ur heal aswell.
also for mages
2 part macro
#showtooltip Pyroblast(Rank 10) /s Welcome to Super (your name)'s Pyroblast attack. /use 13 /stopcasting /cast Arcane Power /stopcasting /cast Pyroblast(Rank10)
2nd macro #showtooltip Presence of Mind /y WELCOME TO OBLIVION!!! /cast Presence of Mind /stopcasting /cast Pyroblast(rank 10) /stop casting
feel free to change the /s and /y words lol.

lol given as they are standard pvp macros don't you find that the warning given by the text is enough for them to do something about the incoming pyroblast?...i've just never seen anybody put text in them b4

For rogues:
If you wanna have a L: Stealth/R: Vanish button, you may have found that the cooldown for vanish doesn't show up. To solve this, make the following macro on left-click:
#Show Vanish /cast Stealth
This will show the cooldown for vanish, but the downside is that it will hide the stealth cooldown. Honestly though, for me about 90% of the time when I want to stealth it's cooled anyways. I'd much rather have the vanish timer available.

(this may be slightly Off topic...) Ever since the last WoW patch, this trick no longer works I've been trying to find a replacement for it but have not found one. Re-reading my original post, i realized that i missed a great important piece to the whole macro. When you create these macros, set the icon of it to be the red question mark icon and the icons would be dynamic and match whatever trinkets you have equipped. Or at least this is how it used to work before the last patch! Dynamic Trinkets - Create two macros with the followign code: #showtooltip /use 13 and #showtooltip /use 14 drag each to Lunar sphere. When pressing each one, it will activate the click event on the appropriate trinket. This will also display the cool-down of each trinket Anyone can point me in the right direction to fixing these macros? Thanks in advance.

You probably already have the answer by now, but the "?" not changing was a Blizz issue, not Lunarsphere. As far as the macros themselves, they still work for me, even on the PTR 2.2.

Yup, it was a Blizzard issue. I didn't post it to this thread, but I posted it elsewhere, but I fixed Blizzard's code in one of the last Stage 4 updates. In the debug tab of LS there is an option to fix Blizzard's macro code. Turning that on fixed the issue that people were having when showing the icon of a inventory slot. Of course, Wow 2.2 has the bug fixed already, but those with 2.1 can use the bug fix

Thanks for mentioning it though

Hello i'm brandnew to lunasphere ;D, but after been messing around with it for a bit i'm hooked. This is some awesome piece of work! congrats. Now about my question: as i'm playing wow on different comps, is it possible to transfer the setup on one comp to another without having to setup everything again? If this is a noob question please forgive me for asking, maybe i overlooked a button. txs for the answer

You can copy your saved variables files for LunarSphere to the other computers. This is the case for any addon, actually. Although some ace addons will be creating profiles that are linked to character names, so you might not be able to use some ace settings with this method. LS, of course, doesn't use ace. So, visit your WOW folder location and find this file for the sphere setup: World of Warcraft \WTF \Account \(ACCOUNT NAME) \(Server name) \(Character name) \SavedVariables \LunarSphere.lua When you find that file, make a copy of it and place it on your other computer in the Saved Variables folder of your choice. So, if you want to copy it an account named "CAT" on the server "Silver Hand" for the character "Kitty", you drop the file into this folder: World of Warcraft \WTF \Account \CAT \Silver Hand \Kitty \SavedVariables \ Hope this helps you out This is JUST the sphere layout and settings. Some of the speeches might be saved globally if you set it that way. If that's the case, you can copy the global variables as well, which are found in this folder: World of Warcraft \WTF \Account \(ACCOUNT NAME) \SavedVariables \LunarSphere.lua The name of the LUA file is the same, so don't mix them up, otherwise it won't work =) Make sure this "global" file is place on the other computers's "global" saved variables
