First of all, i give you permission to delete this thread. Code cat shall be the one to code this. Nobody else.
I love my idea, and i hope you like it too.
Not done yet.
Problem to be solved: 15 dailies/day. In most of them, u get an item in your inventory that you: 1 - open your Inv to use it 2 - open inventory to put it on your action bar, thus, consuming a slot. This addon should do something like: "GetItem(w/e)" Then show buttons WHEN YOU GET TO THE RIGHT ZONE.
Example: you get the quest to 'boot peons' in netherwing and it puts a boot in your inv. Addon shows the button (maybe can be bound to a key) But yo're not in the mood to do it right away and you teleport somewhere else, then the 'Boots Button' disappears.
I'm a genius! =] (without the power of synthesis) ^^

I don't know anything about coding in LUA (or other codes), but i saw somewhere that you cannot (as of now) create an addon that used to be called: "Autobar". It showed in a button: HEALTHSTONE, if you used it, the same button would be: HEAL POT etc.
BUT, since dailies can be sorted by zone, the addon could map 1 key to the button wich would use ALL quest items in the zone. (i know it would make a error message apear everytime, but w/e) ^^

ALSO: if you could code something so that when Master Looter is active, and loot is being awarded, all TIER LOOT went to Gabrix, i'd apreciate. Kktnx

some more info, cause i can already "see" the addon.
It opens up, let's say, a square button with the item that you know the person has based on the dailie they're in. When you hover your mouse over it, a small "x" to close the button appears. Also, by hovering over the mouse, you can "right click" it and that opens a menu (similar to "Trinket Menu" addon) that lets you change the active item in the button.

This is a good idea and I can see it being of great help to people doing daily quests. Since I don't do daily quests yet, I don't really know what the items are or the locations to do stuff. However, if a database is made with all the daily quests and said database also tracks what item(s) are needed to do the quest, it should be pretty easy to make. You could have a small frame that pops up with an icon (the item to be used, which can be clicked) and a keybind setting (if you want to use it) and a small description of why the frame is shown (You're in a zone to do this quest). You can also have a scroll bar on the frame so you can cycle through all the daily quests you have in that zone and it will populate the button icon with the item as well. One could even just mouse-scroll on it. Sorry it took a while for me to respond. I saw this post after I being really busy with a school assignment and decided to respond the next day and, well ... forgot =( When I'm done with LunarSphere, I'll take a look at this idea and see if it's something I'll want to work on. It is very simple, compared to LunarSphere, so it shouldn't take a YEAR to make, haha
