I've been reading older posts and discussions today off and on. I noticed something after a while: For some reason that orange tabby smiling so hugely makes me feel like anything that Moon says is supportively instructive. Moon could be cussing up a storm internally, but it says that the code cat is pleased.. my brain thinks 'Look at how happy that kitty is. All must be well!'.
... You play this psychological game well, Moon, very well indeed.

The great thing about the internet is that it's very hard to deciper whether or not someone is being truthful, lying, sad, happy, or whatever. I could be sarcastic through all of my posts, and one would never know. It's great.
On the reverse of that, because people don't know what the mood is that is associated with the text, more often than not, the conversation is misunderstood and something like "Did you try calling me?" could come out as a simple, honest question, or a mean "Did you even BOTHER trying to call me?!" reading.
This is why I try to include a smile here and there, to at least let people know the mood. But even then, the smile idea is overused sometimes and its meaning is lost.
Mmmm ... psychological games ... I guess I do play them well ^______^ That, and the coding kitty really lightens the mood. Even if I am angry (which doesn't happen much ... or ... *does* it?)
Glad someone recognized one of the purposes of my avatar >=)

I find that, at work at least, people seem to take everything as criticism. Maybe I should lease the code cat to attach to my emails at work to make everything happier?... Smileys are a crutch, but they're very near to essential in order to communicate in a digital, text only format. With a written letter you can pick up tone by pen pressure & all that jazz.. You can't tell if the person typing beat the hell out of their keyboard to get the message to you, or if they were laughing or indifferent. You should put in <--! Why are you bugging me!?--> comments in the code page and see if anyone finds it. I'm partial to cats, having 5 myself, so a happy looking kitty does a conversation all kinds of good, imho.

I'm going to shoot and stuff that cat.
After eating it's gall bladder and nippling a bit on it's 3rd left nipple.
From the top.

My cat, if left alone to its own devices, could devour the WORLD. I'm not worried

The grappling kitties make me laugh every time... My husband likes it when I'm on this site just so he can laugh at them. He has yet to use LS though. o.O!!! I think it's cuz he likes it to be set up for him. He will use when templates happen... just you wait....

Someone in my guild LOVES to chain heal. As a gag, he set up LunarSphere to have ChainHeal on every button, and used every button, and detached some and moved them around the screen so you literally can't move your mouse without almost touching one. Then he took a screen shot.
... that was fun.
