Hey everyone! This thread is to let me know of features that worked pre-3.0, but are no longer functioning. Here is a small list of things that I am aware of: - "Menu Opening Style" options no longer work. Menus will only open or close when clicked. The time delay does not work, nor does the mouse over support. This will be fixed soon.
- Mount and Companion/Pet spells from the Pet tab aren't recognized as spells while dragging them to the buttons to assign them.
- Mount button types are a little wonky and don't work all the time... After assigning a mount button type ("Use best mount, use random mount, etc") to a button and save it, the mount won't do anything until you move an item around in your bags (lol) or reload the UI
If you find anything, just post it in here so I can focus on it. If it's a BUG and you get an error or something of that nature, post it in the error/bug thread. Example of what I mean: You edit a button and set one of the clicks to "Use random mount" and you click the save button. You get an error message. Granted, this seems like the "Use random mount" feature is missing, but since you got an error message, you got a bug, so post it in there. If it was a "feature that was missing" ... you would have clicked save and upon clicking the button (after getting out of edit mode) it does nothing ... that's a feature that is missing =) Thanks!

I'm having a problem with any of the buttons doing anything, not just mount buttons. Moving items around in my bags don't seem to help.
I know the buttons are being clicked and LS is detecting it because. I created a menu button and on the left click I tell it to remember the last button clicked. It correctly remembers which button I click. It is just that the button does nothing. It doesn't matter if I use the simple "Auto Attack" or an item from my inventory. Nothing happens not even an error. (I'm not in edit button mode). I disabled all my addons except LS and that didn't help.
I started with a clean install...no old files in my WTF. I can send you my LS files from my WTS folders.

Do you have "Show LUA errors" turned on in the WOW interface options window, in the help catagory? There might be an error popping up that you can't see, causing the addon to break.
You also said that you started with a clean install, so you had an empty sphere when you started and would then add spells to it? I'm trying to figure out various things that might be affecting you ... but I might need a little more info.

I think I discovered the primary reason...This is my warrior character. I loaded up my hunter and had no problems. I went back to my warrior and checked on the "Use Stances" on a couple of the buttons and those buttons started working. The menus that I checked on "Use Stances" work otherwise they don't. Seems the conclusion is that every button must have "Use Stances" on to work with a warrior. That doesn't feel like a simple workaround. I turned on the "Show LUA Errors" and nothing changed. I started with a blank sphere. I created a couple of menus and I have buttons directly on the sphere. And yes I did wake up in the middle of the night with sleep issues.

Thanks for that information. The stance support is a little odd right now and Warriors are the unlucky ones that are always in a stance, so when the addon starts of in stance 0 (which is normal form for everyone), the Warrior can never get to stance 0 (it's 1, 2, or 3, internal code wise) and the buttons won't do much of anything. I'll load up my warrior and get to work on that. Thanks =)

I can confirm this happening. Once I switch all my buttons to "Use Stances", everything works fine.
Thanks for the wonderful mod. I will be happy to test anything if you need me to.
Great mod!!

Eagerly awaiting you soon to be released...
Has anyone reported that the LunarSphereExporter.toc still has 20400?
Ignore this if I was just too lazy to look.

Mo Better!
LunarSphereExporter is no longer out of date... but it is red... I'm not certain what that means.

Not sure if this counts as a "missing" feature, or a bug... but I started to set a button to "open menu", then decided "nah, I want that here instead".. and now I can either set it to another single-action, or it stays stuck on "open menu". I try setting it to "none" and it just... ignores me. Other than I'm loving having my favorite mod back!

mitsobar: The red is ... a bug on Blizzard's side I think. Maybe it's to let the users know that it is not an addon, but an addon OF an addon (it is load on demand). People have been bugging Blizzard about it since the WotLK beta and, well ... it's still there zoquara: That's odd. I'll check and see what's going on with it. Thanks! (That is probably a bug ...)

Hmm.. I reloaded my UI, and then it allowed me to set it to None.. Sorry!

For my warrior...after downloading the latest 8.01 I'm back to needing to set "use stance". The debug messages did go away.
I've been careful to delete my directories each time I get a new copy.
I know you prolly don't want to hear that.

Version 802 is now live! It should have all features back to working status. I also added some extra stuff (random vanity pet? speeches for vanity pets? yes please!), so be sure to check the "Stage 8 Changelog" thread's latest post for details. Thanks!

Not a bug, nor missing, but working as intended: 8.02 is awesome!

The warrior fix is all good! Thanks.
I did notice...That if a sphere menu button (the button that opens and closes a menu) is set to use a stance, that the menu can't be moved to any other sphere button. You have to temporarily turn off the stance...move the menu button then turn it back on.
Not a biggie as long as you know the workaround.

It seems that Random Vanity Pet is actually: Random Vanity Pet that you know when the button is created. I set the button and bought a pet. I only own three on this particular character. After clicking dozens of times, the new pet never appeared. Yes, I did "learn" the new pet.
Also, I am having the Menu/Stance issues Mitsobar is having as well on my warrior. In addition, I could not get Arms Stance to work.
Still loving this mod. Thank you!

Just to confirm mokakona: You're running version 803, correct? I haven't added code to re-populate the mount and pet list when you learn new ones, so I'll get that in for version 804
