(Note: I said I was going to sleep but... I decided I was too excited, and after some tea, I felt less tired, muahahaha. Now I'm back to anticipation!)

Decided to leave in all the button types that don't work. They are marked in red, to symbolize that they don't do jack right now. Another update in 15 minutes. Almost done

Still converting the art. I forgot that to make the gradient look, I need to edit the original image, so I'm doing a lot of copy and paste and resizing at the moment ...

... they all are fine, but I didn't realize how compressed some of them look (they look better if you set your sphere scale up to 1.3)
The larger ones are also very close to each other, and overlap a little. I'm adjusting the distance that the buttons appear from around the sphere by 6 pixels ...
I'll be adding an adjusting slider in the future to move the buttons away from the sphere or closer to the sphere... for now, it will be slightly further than it was before.

Welcome to the boards, and thanks for the compliment I still have lots more work to do before I am confident that it can replace Serenity 100%, but I'm getting there. Nice avatar/sig too, by the way!

Hi...a few weeks ago, I fell over a hidden link to Lunar Sphere...I installed stage 3 with trepidation but then decided to go ahead...couldn't be any worse than some of the "released" add ons around, could it Well, it turned out to be a lot better than expected and, like all others here, I was waiting impatiently for stage 4 which turns out to be even better ;D As somebody who is partly disabled, I am always on the lookout for good addons that help me to enjoy playing and it looks like Lunar Sphere will be leading the party Also, I was getting rather tired of addons where the developer decides to leave at one point, often enough just going AWOL in the middle...I won't name any as I am sure we've all seen some of them...and so Moongazes attitude was like a fresh wind... I am looking forward to be able to replace more of my addons with Lunar Sphere...

Well, making people happy is on my list of things to strive for! Glad that I'm making good progress in that area. In terms of sticking with this addon, you bet'cha! I will be updating this addon and sticking with it until my days of playing WOW are finished. I will be listening to everyone's comments and will be pretty much devoting my LunarSphere energies toward the community that supports it. I say "LunarSphere energies" because I'll be working on other addons as well, which brings me to ... For right now, I am pushing all of my addon creating energy into LunarSphere until it's ready for a true public release. When it's ready, reality will need to take hold of the situation. I'll need to distance myself from this project a tad. I will be adding new features and addressing bugs as they come up, but I will be focusing on OTHER addons as well, so I won't be able to devote 100% of my coding time to LS. It will probably be 50/50. My plan is to get this thing out the door with as much as I can stuff inside it. Then, I'll be releasing updates on a weekly or monthly basis. With an addon such as LunarSphere, I don't see how I can honestly add new stuff every day ;D I can say in all honesty though, this message board was a great idea and huge success for what LunarSphere has become. Granted, some of the features we see in LunarSphere are my own ideas, but there are some that were added based upon suggestions, things that were changed, and extra details here and there. Not many addons have a message board devoted to them for the express purpose of testing and feature tuning. That's why I'm pretty damn proud of my beta testers who've spoken up and helped out. Seriously, without them, this addon wouldn't be nearly as great as it will be when finished. I believe the problem with some sphere addons in the past is that there was "one" sphere addon. That was a good addon at the time, but it was made for just one class. Then, other people decided to make a sphere add for their class and used the code of the "one" sphere addon as their base. Once they converted their icons and got their spells going, they were done. Some people continued and added new code and new features, but that was rare. Then came along a "new" sphere addon, built from scratch. This one looked a little better, and had some new features that the other "one" didn't have. So, some people starting using this "new" sphere and made variations of it to work for their specific classes. Since this "new" sphere addon utilized the Ace2 framework, it was easier to get the new spells incorporated into these new spheres. Sadly, since a lot of these spheres were based on someone else's code, it was very difficult to add new features because you would break something, or it wouldn't work the way you wanted it to because the old code was conflicting, etc., etc. It was especially hard to understand what the original creator was doing if they spoke a different language (the first "one" was written in French), so if you couldn't figure out what some stuff did, you were pretty much screwed. With LunarSphere, I honestly want to make sure everyone is covered. The best way of doing that is exactly what some people have said I have done: Create a sphere with buttons and menus that can be customized like action bars. Of course, I've done more than that, but that is a good description of what I've done. There was one addon, iSphere, that I stumbled upon near Stage 2 that functioned similarly to what I am doing, but had no menu button support. They were on to something good, and I'm not sure if they knew it yet. ... okay, that's enough of a history lesson. I guess I just had a lot to say about the other sphere addons. The time I spent upkeeping Serenity for the Priests really drilled some of these reasons into my head. Thankfully with Serenity, even if there was comments inside the source code in French, I was still able to figure out what they were doing by just reading the code and update it
